Well, I ordered a Venturi V10. And, also some 10 meter air pistol targets. It seems from the reviews I read that pistols prefer light pellets. Is that your experience as well, and how light? I found and ordered some 7.0gr Masterkugelns, but nothing else that light. Wouldn't mind a less expensive option as well.

Mine shoots best with 7gr RWS R10 Match, and the 7gr Meisterkugelns are a very close second. Crosman Premier 7.4 gr wadcutters also shoot surprisingly well, and at around $12 per 500 are a real bargain. The review I linked to shows how and where to lube the sear, which is very simple. There's also some overall info for tuning the trigger. I've got mine set at 1lb even, and it's very consistent.

The only real change I made to my gun was to do some minor shaping of the grips to fit my hand better, and I finished the wood with Tru-Oil.

Does it have to be new? How about a Diana mod 5 or mod 6, or a Feinwerkbau 65.
