I have -
An Ultra Dot, Match Dot on my Beeman P1.
A Sig Sauer Romeo 1 on my Sig Sauer ASP
A Delta Point Pro on my FAS 6004.
I also wear glasses to see both close AND far..!
Both the Ultra Dot and the Sig have a slight halo around the dot. Not bad on lower settings, and I can deal with it. But the Delta Point Pro is a nice, very clean, sharp dot (delta-triangle on this version). No halos at all on the Delta Point Pro. They have just a "dot" version that's a little cheaper.
But, The Delta Point Pro is also more expensive. That's one price that you pay for quality red/green dot sights. On that note, the green dot sights that I have, some have a little halo, but the green color helps to reduce perceived glare.
One of the cleanest red dot sights that I have is a Holosun - https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1022900148?pid=674589
Nice clean dot, can be used on either a hand gun or a rifle, I have one on each.
