Curious as to what everyone wears for shooting glasses when shooting field target. I’m looking at shooting some matches this year and they are required for all shooters and was wondering what everyone wears.
Corrective lenses are fine. If you don't need corrective lenses, any safety glasses should work. You should prefer the kind that have wrap around lenses. I prefer Something like these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BY1XSGV
You should always wear safety glasses when shooting at steel. It's only a matter of time until a piece of something comes back at you, and whatever it is, you won't want it in your eye.
I don’t always wear them when I’m taking a shot because my eyes are covered but I’ve been bopped with enough bouncebacks that I always wear them when others are shooting.
I wear standard safety glasses both clear and sunglass versions.
I have a pair of Decot HyWyd glasses. They are prescription and made for shooting. i really love them for FT and smallbore prone shooting as well. Not cheap but worth it for me. When I get a new script I will get another pair and new lenses for my old ones. i only have one color lense but they have many choices. Rick
