Well I went down the slug rabbit hole again after giving them up a few years ago but I got a new rifle and back to slugs again lol.. what’s speeds are you guys using to get the best accuracy? My rifle is the .22 Taipan Vet 2 with 700mm CZ unchoked barrel, power plenum and power spring. I tried a bunch of different slugs Altaro’s, knock outs, javelins and H&N but I get the best groups with the javelin gen 2 23gr @ around 1000 fps, second best was the Altaros 31 gr but had to tune down to like 880-890fps. What are you guys running the gen 2 javelins?
