What springer did you shoot today?

I have a HW75 and am using an Eagle vision 13mm to weaver adapter and a vector optic, works great.

Does the Eaglevision adapter use a clamp or do set screws hold it to the rail? I see the recoil pins but what are the two tiny grub screws for? Crow, mine is .22. After getting it healthy I really like it. Very satisfying sound when hitting spinners. Zut et al, below is discussion I had with Ron about some various HW45 thangs. The guys I bought adapter and RD from recommended using the scope stop. Be interested in seeing if yours moves Crow.

You’re right that pistol has a little kick. Crow

I got the Hatson 130 .30 cal. What a workout!

I couldn’t Jack this beast to zero in. Hopefully tomorrow I give it a go. It operated about as smooth as a Jack knife that was buried for 15 years. Next up a HW30 .177. How could you not like this gun. Unfortunately no pic. Last up was a Diana 460 .22 cal. iron sights.

The power of this gun is insane. This is 5 shot at 31 yds.

Good enough for the girls I go out with. Crow

I was out working on ARA Factory Class style targets. They are 1 shot per 25 bullseye. This is harder for me than all on one bullseye. I am getting back into it though. Scored 1510 which is not bad for me.

Then to get my confidence back I shot a 10-shot group with AA 10.3s and then two 5-shot groups with AA 8.4s. The 10 shots were in 1.26" with one 5-shot at 1.01" the other at 0.72."

I got my HW50 .22 out today. I shot mostly at 25 yards. I got a couple 1/2” groups. I shot one disaster group at 35 yards and brought the target back to 25 yards. I was shooting predator gto pellets. I should have brought different pellets to try. I have H&N ftt 5.53-5.55 and H&N alloys also. I went to the range primarily to shoot my steel challenge handgun and had more fun with the air rifle.

Nice shooting!
Thanks. For what you pay for these rifles. It’s sad the sights look like they came out of Cracker Jacks. Crow

That’s a great gun. I use JSB 15.89’s in everything. Rarely have a problem.
Took out a my Crosman Guidehawk, and shot a pretty good first five at forty, with sticks. Also shot the B5 again.

Seem like my first 10 or so shots are usually best. Anyone else like that?

I worked the better part of the day, got home a little befoe 4pm. It was 98 degrees on the highway, and 95 when I got home, with high humidity, rain last night, just too damn hot outside. We are having temps like mid to late August in June.
Don’t like it when you sweat when you swim. Hope it cools down for you. Crow

I rearranged part of my range today. Got to use it tonite. HW77 .25

Killer of a gun. A crowd pleaser.

Last of the 3 is a HW98 .177. This is a serious gun. Paint damage every shot. Great day, oh for an encore the 77 .25 got another audition. Crow

I “liked” this post. But, I really just empathize with it ha ha ha. Was going to shoot under the lights tonight but just too dang beat. We were out and about all day, worked the Poodle, errands, little car maintenance etc. The heat and humidity just saps you. Least we have a little breeze here, E. Texas usually doesn’t.

We can get a week or 2 of that dirty heat. I don’t have air, it’s tolerable on the lake. We’re getting crazy storms, all over in 15 min. Happening more frequently. Took out my drive.

Further N and in Hill Country been having bad storms. Hail, lightning. Bush Airport had 97 mph straight line winds Thursday night. 170K peeps woke up without power Friday morning. In 100 degree heat. Some still don’t have power back. We really have no cause to complain.

Hope the heat breaks.
Storms are insane, I have a 14 kw Eaton generator. Automatic turn on. Comes in handy. Crow
Tonight's finale was at 50-feet indoors shooting AA Field 8.4gr with the TX200. Not my best but workable for a quick one-off.

Last week we had a power outage that lasted about 6-7 hours. I had to work and the wife stayed home, at least it was cloudy so she said it did not get too hot. Apparently just east and northeast of us, in the Longview and Henderson areas they have some serious problems. Some people have been without power for just over a week and the heat is getting bad. A lot of folks have lost everything in refrigerators and freezers. I do have a big 11KW Honda portable generator and a double throw disconnect switch so I can disconnect from the utility line and then feed into my house. I did not have time to get the generator out and connect last week, lucked out. I do need to get it out and run it for a little bit. I generally do that a couple of times a year, probably should be more often and an a little anal about taking care of it. Every time I run it I change the oil even if only run for an hour or so.

My runs every Tuesday. 2pm for 15 min.
Before I was down the lake as cottage. Had power go out lose food once, put in generator. Best thing I ever did.
I saw on news your heat problem. Hope it tames.

Got a little morning shoot in with a HW97kt .177. Love this gun. Have two 97’s in .177 and they both shoot so good I can’t part with one.View attachment 367519Loving the rearranged range. Crow
I kept looking at that range in past post 🙂 knew something was up. Nice range nice rifles. And you don’t have to move yours to mow 😀
