What springer did you shoot today?

I kept looking at that range in past post 🙂 knew something was up. Nice range nice rifles. And you don’t have to move yours to mow 😀
Thanks. Spent another 4 hours on it today. Almost there. Crow
Here’s where I’m at now. Can’t wait to shoot tonite.

I'm thankful to be able to shoot in my own back yard. but wow. that is as nice as your showing of rifles. thanks for sharing keep shooting keep sharing !!!!

I have been working on getting a beat up Diana Model 35 made @1982 back shooting. Gun cost me $60. The work included straightening a bent barrel, replacing rusted crusty leather piston seal with a vortek conversion seal, new mainspring and breech seal. Putting this thing back together was a bit harder than a diana model 27 due to that quirky ball bearing trigger mechanism and the strong springs. Still need to find a front sight, have the rear one. Ran a bunch of pellets through it to break in the new seal etc. Shoots fairly nice, especially the trigger on this. It's a rough looking gun but at least it's back shooting again.

If I’m going to brave 100 degree heat I’m going to shoot! Diana Model 52 Luxus, HW97K long, HW35E, and Diana 56T/H. All in .177. The 52L and 35E were a little off last time so shot them first to see if I could find anything glaring and easy. Nope. 35E is spraying pellets. So many possibilities. Will put on chrono and see where that leads. 52L suddenly wouldn’t complete cocking stroke and reset safety. More on that elsewhere. Def taking apart. The 97 and 56T/H were rock stars. Dime size 10 shot groups from both at 25 yards. For guns making 16 and 18 FPE in .177 it’s impressive accuracy. Spent about 45 minutes with those two blasting spinners and Cooper the squirrel and chalk targets. The little 1/4” to 1/2” leftover chalk pieces are a blast. Felt good to get out and shoot.

I could do a weekend conference on this gun. It’s perfect.
HW95 .177. Accuracy is no problem.

This gun will do anything you ask.
FWB 124 Sport.

Deadly accurate, got those BK scope rings. Not holding.

The last is a HW90 .25. I can’t express how deadly accurate this gun is. Used it despise this gun. Tuned down with gauge. Turned into a Diamond.

The 90 won the encore. Crow

Worst part of taking the 35 apart is that you have to remove the trigger to get the ball sear, spring, and piston out. And getting that little trigger spring in place and trigger reinstalled is the Devil’s work. Sound like you found that out already. Nice job. Those are great little guns, love mine. Mine is actually a 1968 Winchester 435, just a rebadged 35.

Geez Crow lucky you don’t do anything to excess 😂 I reckon there’s over 200 targets on your berm if you have a serious session you’ll empty a tin of 500 before you get to the end. You must have part ownership in a paint company. I’m jealous.

I’ve never had a 35 apart. Just a matter of time. Thanks for the heads up. Crow.

1 spin around the dial, might as well make it a good one. Always adding targets. My daughter just got a job with a really nice CNC machine, that wil be trouble.
I wish I owned a paint factory. I would discontinue blue, Despised that colour on the range. I’ve gone through 15 cans already this year. I repaint my target, daily.
No need to be jealous, you call come down anytime. We’re just a stone’s throw away.
Take care. Crow
