What springer did you shoot today?

Couldn’t let Greenarrow have all the fun. A few chalk targets met their maker too. Have I ever mentioned how much I like this gun?

Nice guns. I really like the .25 cal. springer. Crow
You have to be happy with that. Very nice. Crow
today shot the HW77 in .22 first springer i have in .22 . irons are not bad cronied it @ 630 FPS /14.3 crossmans (only pellet available today till i order some ) 12.6 FPE .
Now for the question : in .22 what is a good weight for mostly target / bench shooting ?
Have over 20 - .22 cal. rifles. I shoot JSB 15.89’s which is same as the Hades. Rarely have a problem. There may be better, I plink. Have the 13 and 14 grains as well. Crow

You guys are so lucky to be able to purchase air pistols. In Australia i believe a person has to obtain a special licence, join a club, get approval from the club to participate in matches, wait six months before obtaining a permit to acquire and then that person has to participate in several matches each year to keep their licence. A lot of hoops to jump through, yep we have tough gun laws here.

tonight the HW 95 L FIELD PRO 177 last night took all apart remover the A R H spring. Installed Vortek spring an piston seal did a little work on the stock. put all back together tighten all bolts to the spec I had received from mycap65 install droop compensator mount installed a 3x9x40 scope to night. run around 100+ aa8.44 pellets down the tube. I can say that Vortek spring is nice. and non of the bolts came lose!!!!! I truly hate to say anything BUT at this moment in TIME it's shooting better than it has ever shot and to MR CROWSKI can't you guys keep the smoke up there I'm 150 mile south of Chicago it's bad here I finally came in the house couldn't hardly see targets lol

It's got visibility down in W. Central Ohio as well....

Everyone has visibility issues. Can’t see here for the sweat in our eyes ha ha ha. I have to wear a backwards ball cap to shoot. Seriously. Anyway. Was playing around with torque settings on 97K long barrel last night. Decided to try different hold positions for a few shots. 10 shot group in middle is usual position. 2 shot group to left with hold I believe farther back. Didn’t like it, wasn’t comfortable. 4 shot group to the right was farther forward, more like a Diana. I was surprised not just by the difference hold made in POI but at how well the gun continued to group. You hear about hold sensitivity, well here’s some empirical evidence. Thought it was pretty cool.

Edit: Remember I said my 35E was spraying pellets? That hole below the target is from the 35E shooting at a target to the left of this one! its all over the place man. Can’t hit a 1.5” target every time from 25 yards.

They’re awesome pistols. I need to spend more time just to hit a barn door. I’m brutal. Enjoy Crow

Gary getting really tight here as well. Anything pistol over 500 ft./s is restricted you can’t buy it, you can’t sell it, if you own it, you can keep it, not allowed to sell. Just Enforced recently. Crow

The smoke is supposed to be worst ever tomorrow. Crazy.
I put in 12 or 13 Vortek kits. Only HW80 plus was NFG. Seamed to bind on sleeve when jacking. All the rest were a massive difference for the good.
I like that 95. Is there a moderator on there?
Looks so much better than the straight barrel. Crow

Can you imagine Yellowstone blowing? Crow
Down in SC Indiana as well.
It’s rained here last 3 days. They’re calling for rain for 8 of the next 10. How they know that I don’t know. Haven’t seen much of sun lately. Crow.

It was so hot but rained most the day. I worked out side pulling weeds, got soaked, but effective. Same tommorow.
That’s amazing how differently the rifle responds to the different holds. Crow

Two rifles tonite. A Diana 54 Pro. .22. Nicknamed the Tank.

This gun delivers lead and hits like a mule kicks with accuracy. Sucked in by the red stock.

Very interesting gun.
Second gun a BSA Polaris .22. Unique gun. This is the reason I never got a HW57.

Had to use knife to push pellet all the way. Beautiful gun, except for the loading. Deadly accurate and hits hard. Crow

Are you feeling the recoil with the 54 at your shoulder? You shouldn’t. If you are the sled needs adjusting.

Morning shoot with a 97 Blackline stainless .22.

Beautiful gun. A 97 thumbhole. No plastic. HaHa.
This cousin of the 97, the infamous 77 lam .177. Can name that tune in one word, classic.

I love my 97’s, might do a little two timing. Doesn’t get much better. Have the .22 in long as well. One is getting a peep. Great start to day but heavy smoke. Crow

Same here in So.central WI. with a strong chemical odor, I don't go out. Burns my eyes and nose, throat along with head ache...strange.
no noticeable smell here , just the weather service warning to stay inside if your susceptible to breathing problems .
