What springer did you shoot today?

Shot the .30 and XS25 today off hand at 40. The first five from each. Man I really blew one from the 30 low and right. Then had some fun with the cement targets.

I got to spend an hour today in my portable shooting blind watching for ground squirrels. One showed me about two inches of his head and neck. After watching over ten minutes I figured I might as well take a shot. I heard the pellet hit but he dropped back down into his hole, so no recovery. Shooting my first Winchester/Daisy.

Can you provide some info on those targets? I need some resettable outdoor targets for my range. Thanks.

Got them on Amazon.
I’ll drill 2 holes in them at the top and hang them from a chain. I’ll cut off the stake that goes in the ground. I hang them because they get way too dirty on the ground, when raining. Crow

Tonite again HW90 .25. Thought I was going to split a can in 2 with less than 20 rounds. Took 32. Destroys cans.

I tried hitting rounds inside the gel tree rat. They were JSB 10.34

I managed to hit 2.

Grazed one, the other pushed it almost 2 inches and destroyed it. They were in perfect condition. Crow

Today was a three day. I shot 3 three pellet groups each in my Hw77, Hw50S and my LGV Challenger. The distance was only 20 metres so I set the parallax to 10 metres in each scope, all 4*12*40.
Nearly all in the same hole in each group. I thought my Hw77 or my LGV would win but the little Hw50S beat them all.
Very satisfying.

I shot my favorite rifle (my peep sighted 177 HW30) yesterday while watching over construction and trying to gun break my new dogs. Construction has forced me to shoot nothing but offhand. Something I've gotten out of practice with. I went through over a tin of cmp wadcutters. Had a lot of fun shooting a 4" plate and a one liter mellow yellow bottle out to fifty yards. Got some smaller spinners and beer cans at closer ranges. Very enjoyable especially after the "workers" left.

Can’t leave this gun alone. R9 .20. Keeper.

Got up early, treated to this.

The geese at 3 o’clock, already on the prowl at 6.30 am. A hour later 2 hit my shore, scared them just in time.

Can’t shoot. Our national bird. Probably started with 4 pairs in the spring. Serious problem. Cluster bomb needed. Crow

Had fun yesterday with weekend guests who are all dedicated PB shooters. Rolled out my best air pistols hoping to create a few new airgun enthusiasts. Made some solid headway. Today's menu is all springer rifles. The 98 and M1A are .22, D48 and 50S are .177. Can't wait to see what they think of the little 499B. They've never heard of a single-shot smoothbore muzzle-loading BB gun.

My youngest daughter, her boyfriend, and my youngest granddaughter were her for a couple days. He grew up shooting PB guns. Broke out the Diana 56T/H, HW35E, and gas ram Hatsan 135 to let him see what airguns were like. Might have another airgun convert. Kid is a good shot. He really liked the 355E.
