What springer did you shoot today?

Some morning shoot time with a D 34 .177.

Mercyless, easy shooter. Liking this gun. And accurate.
The Pro Sport .177 is a favorite. Jacking , no problem. Prefer over TX.

I’m really liking these rests. They hold the rifle securely. Crow.

This was my last buy, a HW98 .20. Had such high hopes, but started as a dog. Persistently shot it as much as possible.

Today you would swear Mother Teresa touched it or something. And with JSB’s 13.?? which it shot accuracy like an Uzi, now impressive. Champion. I took a 97 to shoot as well but the 98 stole the show. Getting dark before 5 is driving me crazy. Crow

If I were to ever buy a break barrel for a main rifle it would be the HW98/R11, followed by a HW50.
But I’m good with my under levers.😜

Shot the .22 98 yesterday, and tested out something new I put together. A .177 replica of the Austrian Bullpup 5.56mm Steyr AUG.

98-aug-2.JPG

The AUG is an electric spring-piston gun that started out as a .25 airsoft that I converted to .177BB. A fairly simple matter of machining a new barrel sleeve, modifying the magazine, and adjusting the mainspring and gear ratio. Shoots Daisy match grade BB's at around 450 fps out of the 14" barrel. It's select fire and the mag holds 250 rds. So far it's 100% reliable, and accuracy is quite acceptable for a smoothbore BB slinger. Getting close to 1000 rounds per battery charge. I've wanted an airgun replica of my real AUG for some time now but I'm not really into airsoft. That's basically where my .177 BB conversion idea came from.

There are some master craftsmen on this forum. You, sir are on that list. Awesome.

Installed front sight correctly on FWB 300S then re-zeroed and shot for a little bit. What a machine.
I have one but don’t shoot much. You’re getting the juices going. It is so smooooth. Crow
I shoot most every day. What I fail to do is take a picture. Most times because I forget the phone. But took a picture today.

Spent some time on range with these three. 2- 97’s and a D350, all .22.
IMG_7293.jpeg
Check out the difference in barrels. The 350 is simply a hard hitting cannon.
All guns accurate, but the 2 - 97’s were unbelievable.

I got this gun by mistake, it shoots so nice I can’t part with it.

This was my first 97. This one has had a little more air time. Crow
