I have other options that are nicer, and more expensive, but yes the Caldwell bag does a great job, especially in combination with a rear bag.Does that Caldwell bag work well? Cause it looks stable.

Love the patina of a seasoned rifle. And again the muzzle end looks so much better than a straight barrel. Have my 85’s out to shoot tomorrow. Crow

Your M1A looks awesome.Shot the M1A this morning. Shoots well with the Crosman Premier 14.3gr domed. Plinking beer cans at 30-40yds offhand is great fun. It was 30 F and sunny with no wind when I started. Then the temp dropped 10 degrees, sun went away, and it started snowing. So I finished up my session indoors with the 499B at 10m. What a fun little rifle.

What power/speed/pellet does the rifle like? I’m thinking a .25 cal thumper could be nice. Thanks! If there ever was an “ugly duckling” of a gun this HW90 .25 is it. My first Wiehrauch. Ironically the only thing I liked about the gun was the looks. View attachment 410683Now this beast is on my favorite list. What an awesome gun. Crow
