What springer did you shoot today?

This is yesterday morning. HW77 .22. View attachment 415322Also the mighty HW90 .25. Both behaved.Just finished wrapping my boat for the winter. A little late, when I finished, it snowed. Glad it’s done. View attachment 415324Crow
Sold both of my boats, 20' 115hp and a 15' all electric. Just too much up keep and taxes, registration, insurance, gas, oil, ...lol, I could go on. Big time into bass fishing, had fun, moved on to other stuff.

Early morning, a cup of coffee and a couple of underlevers.

I hear you. Had a 16 1/2 bass boat sitting on a trailer for 3 years. Wife wanted a boat. Got a 20 ‘ pontoon used it once. Going to sell.
I fish off my dock and I’m deadly on my paddle boat. Float along the shore. I’ve always catch and release. I was just on my shore this afternoon they dropped the water about a foot.

I’m standing on my boat launch. Good fishing off my docks. There when the sun goes up and down, really the only time I fish. Love it when a bass breaches or dances.
Doesn't cut into my shooting time. Crow

If I lived there then I would have some kind of boat, maybe a small jon. But when you have to trailer from lake to lake and deal with all the game wardens and idiots that have no business on a boat ramp it kind of takes away the fun..lol.
Hassle is the word that comes to mind.

Took out my K98 .22. With the snow background I was able to hit a can repeatedly 37 yds. Got dark in forest at 47 yds. No good. This is a great gun. I’ve always enjoyed shooting this gem. Wouldn’t want to carry this one.

Took out a tree rat at 37 yds.
‘Later in day took out trash with this HW70.

I’m getting better. Superb pistol. So easy. Crow

I just refurbished an FWB 300s. What a cool old gun. Very accurate. Someone was dieseling with it I believe, plus it was soaked in oil…The buffer was disintegrated and the piston was stuck in the sleeve. It was definitely a surprise when the spring and everything finally came apart. I tapped it gently until it let go. Got around $410 in it with the parts. Trigger needed a part as well. Talk about tough to get, I found them but the factory couldn’t send it to me. It Had to go to an importer. I found ann old gun shop that had what I needed. Anyway, it’s such a sweet shooting old gun. Ran a few through it after work.

Nice rack..lol, that's a plethora of tune jobs waiting, or shoot them in factory trim.
I’ve been picking up different spring sets over summer. Soon to go in. Love this part. Have the piston seals for all rifles. Have 4 different makes of springs. After the tunes it will be time for custom stocks. Crow

I never cared much for the factory HW piston seals, although the newer ones are much better than the older ones.
