All good choices, you know my two favorites of the four.2 hours of shooting today. 6 guns down. This 97 .177 lam. is stupid accurate. View attachment 421798Shot a 350 mag., 97, 35e and a ProSport. View attachment 42179937F. today, crazy.
From my living room. Here’s a Pariguine on the edge of the ice.View attachment 421801Big bird. Crow
That's the chronograph crow and I are after.Had a chance to do some pellet testing with my new-to-me HW97, this is a very accurate rifle, especially with JSB Exact 10.3's. I only tested 4 different pellets, though.

My bad...brain spasm. It is an HW95. Like I said "new-to-me" . Thanks for the clarification! Cheers! (I was only 2 off!)Hey RC, from this angle it looks like an HW95
It’s a Garmin unit. What is that chronograph? Does it work just sitting along side of the muzzle?
Yeah, Florida_man got it right. Super simple, never misses a shot. Seems accurate. It has to be 5”- 15” from the muzzle, and pointed in the general direction of the target. A little pricey but I’m a fan of “buy once cry once” from experience with other hobbies. I had to wait a couple months once ordered. I got it directly from Garmin. What is that chronograph? Very nice. Do you have any vortek or other mods to your hw80 .22?Got a chance to shoot a HW80 .22. This gun wants to hurtView attachment 422242Shooting today 17F, little wind. The muzzle ends that SpiralGroove made saved the day. Hanging on to steel at these temps. is nasty. I’m warming up to this rifle.
‘Also shot this favorite, HW77 .25. Repeaditly hit a 1 in. hole to ring the bell at 47 yds. Big problem, the cocking arm got the better part of me hanging on with a glove. Brrrr. Time for the electric clothing.View attachment 422245Crow
I just ordered one. I was going to get the lab before, but I thought too complicated. So I cried 3 times, no 4. The Garmin wasn’t around. Thanks CrowYeah, Florida_man got it right. No. It’s factory, it’s growing on me like a fungus. 80’s weren’t my favorite, that may change. I think I have a spring for a 80 to go in. I‘ll start after I get that crony. I think 4-5 weeks delivery. Probably scoop a few more springs in that time. CrowVery nice. Do you have any vortek or other mods to your hw80 .22?
Nice.Took a lunch break at the fifty foot indoor range. Took the R7 and HW80k
both .177.both shot with Exact 8.44g 4.53 dia.
I shot 2 groups each and I can't complain.
I spent the rest of my break shooting offhand with the R7. Even though it's light it's such an easy gun to shoot.
