What springer did you shoot today?

Spent another 5 hours working on range. So again nite shooting. All 4 are .177. HW95, HW50S, HW97KL and HW35E. ABB5929C-63B5-40AE-A4FD-1A96FEA8BA00.jpegigs and the 97kl under lites. FE0090BC-267C-41BC-88A5-D8A48A0FC864.jpeg all rifles were lasers. Crow

I haven't had a day off since I retired LOL.

Maybe a few guns. I don’t know about the so much time. When I supposedly started to take it easy I lost 40 lbs.
Last week I started on my range I hand bombed 15 tons of granite rocks in a bucket in 4+ hrs. to move them. I have since put another 20 tons on wall for range. One of reasons I shoot at nite. No rest for the wicked, I must be real bad. Lunch now. Crow
I was supposed to start on my range in early June, that’s how far behind I am.

Got another 5 hours working on gun range. Got 2 1/2 hrs of shooting in tonite with these 4 beauties. F26F5A55-51BE-4C16-BD85-9082EAEAC7BF.jpeg 2 Pro Sports and 2 TX200’s. 1 each of .177 and .22.
The more I use the Pro Sport the more I get addicted. If this gun had a breach opening the size of the 97 IMO this would be the perfect underlever springer. Crow

And the straw boss said “well bless my soul”.

Shooting my brand new HW77k. Apparently, just because I was a good shot when I was younger doesn't mean that I'm a good shot today. I need to find somewhere I can go to spend some serious practice time. It's a little hectic where I live to feel like I can reel off the amount of shots it's going to take to improve...

don't know how you shoot i found slow and easy practice , springers are sometimes hold sensitive , most times a very light hold is best ?
Shoot then think about where and how you held on to the 77 , might help . My 97 i barely hold on at all

Re-positioned the rear peep on my RWS Diana Model 34. It's my 10 M gun when Kim wants to shoot her HW30S or the critter git'r when it's too humid to run outside with a scoped gun. One sighting shot at 10 M, adjusted the peep, and then 5 more. 3 from a rest, last 2 standing. I know some people don't like the T05 trigger but mine is smooth with a solid wall and breaks cleanly at just over 2 lb. Great shooting gun. Just think what I could have done with an under lever! ;) Sorry, couldn't resist.

Thanks for the tips, but I'm out. I have tinnitus and that recoil vibration means that my left ear has voted springers off the island. I got the HW77 moderator as a last ditch effort to see if it helps. It does quiet the report down to dull thud, but the sound and action coming in through my body remains and the ringing flares up. Sadly, boxing up the 77 to sell. Guess I need to look into PCP's. Currently shooting my HW75 pistol which is fine.

Is your 77 tuned at all ?re/greased ? I also have serious tinnitus , to me sounds like tires on a rough surface road at 60 MPH that's 24/7 always .

Went up North to my buddies range in the middle of nowhere. Now he has hatches on windows. 343E9BFB-A66A-4638-BB74-2206936044F5.jpeg This is the one that got me started, when he let me shoot his HW80 3 1/2 years ago.
Got there around 10:30, it was 32 F. don’t;Ike that, here’s the solution 45D603F7-DADE-417F-8F11-AA68BDA72ED0.jpeg A blazing wood stove, came in handy.
My buddy dislikes .177, so this was my selection 5B1F1222-8409-4CDE-9825-24B56702C58A.jpeg HW95 .177, R9 .20, HW97 .20, HW98 .22, K98 Mauser .22 iron sights, and the cannon Hadson 135 .30 iron sights. He liked the .20.
Love shooting here. My range is only 38 yds. so I shot 50 yd. shots constantly. 35CAD2DB-9411-4CF3-BFF0-3095506A9E58.jpeg The 97 .20 was just stupid accurate. Got 4 hours of sniping in. A great day. Crow

Not all springers, but here's what I shot today.View attachment 298196
That looks like a 135. I jacked my 135 for about 40 rounds today. Not a gun I could shoot regular.
My little HW 57. .177. I also have one in .22, Lightweight, relatively powerful, and accurate, at least for my offhand shooting.
Very interesting. Crow
I drugged out my B3-3 and shot about 10 shots over the Chrono. I'd only ever shot 1shot out of it after rebuilding it for my wife but she doesn't want to have anything to do with it so it's been sitting for over a year.
Not familiar with this rifle. Crow
HW30 10m off hand, maybe 150 shots. Took a few with the 95 from the bench. Then back in the shop to work on a non springer.
How can you go wrong with a 30. Have a 30 black en route arriving soon. Two great guns, enjoy. Crow
