I haven’t been bass fishing since the early eighties.. I've got my gear but sold the boat and never looked back.Good luck. I’m starting to sharpen my hooks, bass opens in early July. Crow
Have an older bass boat, never use it. The best fish I‘ve caught on this lake is right off my docks.Have a boat launch as well. I’m an early bird I fish just before the sun comes up for 1/2-3/4 hr. and then when the sun goes down, again short time, takes little away from shooting.I haven’t been bass fishing since the early eighties.. I fished from the front of my bass boat with one foot on the trolling motor pedal. I primarily used black and blue tail worms or spoons with pork rind. I hand picked my rods for extreme sensitivity so I could feel the structure.Have an older bass boat, never use it. I prefer a manageable paddleboat, if I want to cruise the shoreline with Stella. Only use top water lures, no live bait, catch and release. Not a great fisherman, but enjoy the challenge, and love the dance. Crow

I cleaned the barrel when I got it. Adjusted the trigger. Been practicing since. Loose grip with the forward hand is the biggest tip I can tell you at this point.I just started my second tin on my new one. Its still dieseling a little. Its a little different experiece with a learning curve.
