What springer did you shoot today?

It stacks pellets until it doesn't. I have been blaming the flyers on the wind, but I just had two evenings of dead calm. I have a vertically level pipe to alighn and shoot groups on.
Early on I had bad fps variations of as much as 30 fps. I blamed that on dieseling. So now it's time to chrony it again, and compare the points of impact with the fps.

The pellets are JBS Exact .20.

The scope is an Athelon 1st gen, 6x24x50 ffp.
The rings are opticaly centered between my 30, and 75 yard ranges.

That's a sweet looking 97.

Two gems this morning. HW90 .20. Amazing gun.

I was shooting at 47 yd. but in the pouring rain the branches droop. I knew where the target was, leaf’s were in the path.

The vertical squares top ones covered by the clump of leaves. Great challenge. The 90 made mincemeat out of it.
This next gun always amazes me A Diana 34.177. Bought used. Smooth.

After supper took a Pro Sport .177 out for a ride.

I’m a huge PS fan. Tonite it didn’t let me down.
Also played with one of my FWB Sports. The scope was out a mile but once zeroed, knockout.

Only gun I have two identical, the other will have iron sights. If I got another double it would be a Pro Sport. Crow

Again you always remind me of something..
I was shooting the Rat with the HW 30 and the reset was gone. The grass had grown under it. I told my wife I think I know where it is. Snap got it in the first try.

Not as easy to cock as compared to a normal under lever, like a 97K or TX200. But you get used to it and adapt. As with anything mechanical you have to maintain it, screws loosen etc. Overall I really like mine.

The grain in that stock!!! Very nice.

Just joking. To each their own. I never took the time to check one out. I might have one now that I think about it.
All good. I’m not a fanboy of any brand. And maybe I just got lucky and got a good one.
Either way. I’m happy with it.

Just plinking today, first with my R9 and then I grabbed my Diana 34. Both rifles shoot the FFT 4.52 equally well. Both capable of hitting 1/2" spinners at 30 yards repeatedly. Today it was windy so I move the spinner rack to 25 yds.

I have several 34's and they are way over sprung. One has a short barrel with the cocking aid removed and is noticeably different in a good way. Cocking aid was removed for better accuracy. One of the plain no butt pad variant I would like to have chopped, recrowned and tuned. Any response, suggestions or input appreciated.

Into town today, with a pit stop at AGS. Picked up 10 tins .25 Hades. They’re the price they were 2 yrs. ago. Cheaper than the dome. If still there next week one more 10 pack. Can easily go through a tin in a day.

Two rifles which are always compared. TX200 .22, my first springer.

Easily tackled my toughest targets, and gained a few yds.
And in this corner a HW97 .177.

I slottered the bell targets and spinners. Both are accurate as hell, but it ends there. Crow
