What springer did you shoot today?

I’ve had my left handed walnut stock FWB300S for over 20 years and haven’t even broken if after a total rebuild. Today I just discovered what a super great rifle it is! I believe it has the best trigger of the many air gun I have ! What a joy to rediscover the special gun ! Only missed one time at 20 yards, and for me that’s great. Charles

Another dirty looking day, Took the HW77 .22 Venum for a dance. Liking this gun more and more, Comfortable stock.View attachment 470923Next up a HW30 .22. One of the best plinkersView attachment 470924Also took a FWB sport. Love this gun. View attachment 470925Crow.
What’s your definition of the best plinker?

Reason I’m asking is. Because I just said the same thing this evening. When I shot for the first time, my new Gamo Hunter .22.
3 shot to zero & the next 17 shots were touching!

It shoulders easily, cocks 1 handed, shooting tight groups with the first pellets through it.

The other day I removed the 4-12x40 Airmax from my 34 Diana. It was put on the R10 and the old 4-12x40 Airmax was taken from the R10 and put on the 22 cal 77K.

We I read a post either here or on UK airgun forums about how well and durable the old Tasco 2.5-10 AO Varmint model was. I've had one setting idol for 15 or 20 years. So I decided to go to the lake and take the 34 and set it up on it.

I also bought 2500 H&N FTT pellets anticipating the R10 loving them. Well the pellets were not near as good as the AA field Diablos. But talk about magic in the 34!

So a great afternoon and the old Tasco is performing like a champ! It and the pellets are are a match made in heaven for this rifle, and it's use now. 802 fps with a ten shot es of 5.3 fps for nine of them. I threw the odd shot out.

I have a can hanging at 42 yards, on the lower limb left side of the trunk on that far tree in front of the marsh, and my 18 yard zero is dead in shooting 1" resting my elbow on my back gate to the deck. The R10 might of shot the 34 out of the saddle for my 177 game getter. But this 34 will rule the marsh! And that 2.5-10x40 AO Tasco Varmint model is classic gem for airguns!

Way cool!

I finally got a video to download my make shift target, here in the valley about 80 feet deep, a mile from paved roads then 1/2 mile down in thru the marsh to get to these 3 lakes. No public or commercial access. Just wildlife and me. Oh ya and my twusty pellet wifle. ;)

I got some time this AM, before the heat came up too much, to have a plink with my new to me Crosman 6300. It is a rebadged Anschutz 333.

It was 80 °F at 0700 hrs. and I did not spend long, but I had beaucoup fun with this unit.
Yea it's like can't shoot all winter, anticipate spring. Now here it is 48 hrs from summer equinox and still can't go out and shoot. Oh and nice rifle by the way

I like it. After further review I would put a pull tab guard on the dowel. That's 1 of the first things to go with my shooting abilities.😬

Yesterday morning, I was awaiting a locksmith to repair an entrance lock on the house so I got my old FWB 300s out. I had one of the dueling tree swinging targets set up. Somewhat backlite, so the small one was not easy to see against a bright grass background and trees. I hit it with some fresh orange paint and better. Using the factory iron/diopter sights it was too easy at 15 yards. I use a double diopter so the small swinger fit the front diopter perfectly, like a proper paper target.
