What springer did you shoot today?

Shot the 97K yesterday, put away the bags and I'm back on the sticks, I'm a little rusty off the sticks now from a long layoff. Anyway, the 97K will not be shot again for a while because I decided I can't stand that factory orange finish any longer..lol. However it turns out I'll be much happier than the way it was...

Way to jump in T!

Cool target and guns. Are you refinishing the violin? Mines soaking overnight wrapped in plastic..lol.
I am. I’m scraping the finish off. I tested with two paint strippers and they didn’t work. They are old products so I don’t know if they lose their potency if left sitting for long periods. It’s walnut but it did have some color in the finish because the wood is lighter after being scraped.

Whatever is coming off of mine looks like 1/32" thick..lol. Can't imagine scrapping that off dry, I didn't realize that there was that much finish over the wood. Good luck on the walnut, I'm sure it will look amazing.

Whatever is on mine scrapes off really easily. I just haven’t put much time into it. Busy with life…
