What springer did you shoot today?

Haven’t shot my air rifles for a couple of weeks, seeing scores of doctors, bloody cancer has come back.
Any how we have had an Army grub invasion so I poisoned. Worked a treat but the Indian miner birds, an introduced pest in Australia thought it was a free lunch and descended in droves. I but a small camping peg up the first fellas but and stood him up, perfect decoy. Shot five with my Hw77 Stainless until they worked out what was happening.

I looked at the book. It’s tuned down to 870 fps with 8.44.
‘Check out this one at 35 yds.View attachment 516533There’s a round stuck 10 o’clock. These targets are really decent. The sound is diff. from steel. Crow

Nothing today, we went from early summer to early winter in 4 days here. Monday I was out mowing the lawn on a rider in shorts and t shirt, today, the high was low 50's with a strong breeze, and it just felt cold. Swings like that make it hard to get used to. Last Tuesday was very cool, then Wednesday warm again and more on the cool side Thursday.

Same here, crazy swings in NC. In the 30's at night now, next week going into the 20's high 40's in the day.

First basement experience. HW35, 35’ with a Williams peep.
I’m using an Outers trap and wanted to do a sound check. All prepared with rubber, leather and carpet to play for lining as needed.
5 shots bareback, I go upstairs to ask SWMBO if it’s too loud. “I can hardly hear it. Is it fun?”
Shame on me for rolling my eyes when she bought all those solid core doors.

The lollipop was all a blur.

I had an easier time seeing with the aperture sight.

I’ll set up a nice work light I have for next time.

Same here, can't get a clear picture with the open sights anymore. The Hawke 2-7X32 would be perfect down there.

Thanks. I’m hoping it’s my ghetto lighting. I see way better outdoors. I’m having a good experience with the sights for now. This rifle came with a scope way too big for itself.

I use the same sight. Nice groups

Crow are you mocking me? I pulled the trigger a minute late and missed a USED HW 90 at AOA earlier this year. Made the order and the next day it disappeared. Called Monday and told me what happened. I did a quick buy of an HW95 in 20 cal, walnut stock. Still waiting for the new 90s to come in. Be Well Brothers, Bandito.

Krale has 90's.

Yes, Last monday high was 78, this morning Sat low was 29. Yesterday high was 55, windy and cold. Upper 60's predicted next week.

Growing up in NE Louisiana, back in the 50's-60's I remember it getting cold in October and staying relatively cold without the wide swings, At least we could get used to the cold, now it's impossible.

I like aperature sights, ie, front diopter, especially the plastic ones with a hole that appears to be reamed with what looks like a countersink reamer. It looks like a dark ring floating in a clear field. I like them for targets and plinking, just center the target in the front aperature and shoot.

No mocking.
Your 95 choice is to die for, love the Walnut stock. I‘ve had a 95 Walnut .25 on order a few months, can’t wait.
Just shot the 95 .20 cal. yesterday, the perfect gun.
I don’t see how anyone could go wrong with a 90, but the gauge and pump is a must. They just landed in Canada.
‘Good luck. Crow

Well this is the start. We got 4 inches and still lightly snowing.
IMG_0497.jpeg
If it snows I’m shooting. 35 F. no wind. How can you go wrong with a fresh start. What I love about the snow. is if you miss your shot. It’s easy to see where. Got the Blues on. You can knock the distant snow on branches.

Started with “180”, my HW90 .25. , machinery at its best.
IMG_0498.jpeg
My first Weihrauch. Went from bad boy to best buddy. What a gun. Here’s 20 shots 35 yds.
IMG_0501.jpeg
only one pull at 10 o’clock. The other shots off target different caliber. Destroying the aluminum.
This HW97 .177 I’m thinking is going to be the candidate for a 12 fp spring.
IMG_0502.jpeg
This gun has spring noise but so accurate. I’m going out shooting. Crow
