What springer did you shoot today?

unfold that blanket over the table ,till it touches the ground . A small electric heater will keep you warm .
Can't believe this weather here VERY unseasonal . 22 last night and only up to 34 today all this week . I need to shut off the waterfall and pond pump.

New (to me) gun day! Sheridan .20 with a born on date of 1963, from the AGN classifieds. In great condition and born in the same year as me...Chronied 4,5,6,7 pumps: 460, 500, 573, 625 respectively. 5 pumps felt about right and averaged 537. Remarkably accurate out to 20 yards, which is about as far as I can see the bullseye.

Thankyou for buying this gun before i was too tempted .

Also had time to shoot my two other .20s, A Beeman RX2 with a custom stock, and my HW77K. 3 very different .20 platforms, all deadly accurate.

I managed to land one on my birth year and had no idea it's actual year until it came in the mail.
A 55 Bluestreak, shown here with my 72 that I bought new when I was 16. Don't let the sight on my l 72 fool you its a replacement front sight from a fifties model Bluestreak installed at Mac1.
Also the 55's didn't have the plastic hand guards. I bought that hand guard from a guy in Texas who makes them with a 3d printer.

I can’t put a heater because I spin the table, my range is 140 ft. wide. I’ve got heated socks, pants and vest. Again no wind is a must when below freezing and shooting. With no heat I’m good for an hour before thawing out.
I’ve been here 35yrs. I’ve never seen not a hint of ice one day then lake frozen over the next. Crazy weather. Just lifted my dock a few days ago. Going out soon. Crow

29F. No wind cloudy but you almost need sun glasses. Shot my Venum 77 .22. The word smooth does it no justice.

A pleasure to shoot. Here’s 20 rounds 35 yds.

Unfortunately my stock was loose. I had no Allen wrench to tighten on shooting bench but I soon will.
Next gun has been a favorite a HW98 .22.

Something is wrong. Shooting all over the place, couldn’t tame. Need to open it up.
Check out the debris from the shots. Snow doesn’t lie.

Last night HW35 .177 H&N barracuda 8 @45ft now with adequate lighting. With around 250 pellets under my belt, and the gun’s, the cycle already feels a bit smoother with minimal grip.

Nice winter set up, as well as tuning and chronying the rifle. I just bought some of those barracuda 8's to test out in my rifles as well. 👏🏻

It just doesn’t get better. 30F. sunny no wind. Shot a HW80 .177. FTT 8.4? grain worthless. Switched to a Barracuda 10.64, settled down.

Also shot this HW77 .22.

Can’t go wrong with a 77. This gun is serious business.
Here’s a shot of my hideout, far left side of porch.

Hey Gary, hope all is good down there. Crow

Sweet corner set up, Crow.
Do you get hot beverages and snacks passed thru the window?
Thanks, Yes but the back door is 20 ft. away. My wife is an incredible cook. I’m down wind from the fan. When I smell food I use the door.
There’s 2-10,000 lumin spots. With the snow you almost need to wear shades when you turn them on. Crow

Crow the Thoracic specialist is calling me this arvo. I had three biopsies through my back into my lung and I get the results from him. I also have a small cancer at the back of my nasal passage and a precancerous lesion on one of my vocal cords.
Its all go but in the wrong direction, fingers crossed

We’re pulling for you Gary. Wanna see you burn out that 77. Crow

just had a weather alert for my part of the world ! falling temps and increasing wind , unheard of 20 degree temps and 20 to 30 MPH winds
Plus a "Blizzard " snow condition tonight . Most places would call this expected snow " a dusting " so no worries .
Stan in Ky .
This will be a great test for my new indoor pellet trap !
