I used several times before and there was never a miss. Do tune-ups and no show, only on .177. Maybe charge battery and try tomorrow. CrowMaybe it wasn't lined up right before. Need to keep an on it for sure.

Perfect winter range down there. Some after dinner HW35 time. Playing with different pellets at 45 ft. Smoothing out after about 350 projectiles (the gun and me).

That’s a BeautyI have a Garmin Xero. I had to pre-order it. Early on it wasn’t readily available. Super simple, I don’t think it has ever missed a shot. I’m not the only one, and I don’t work for Garmin. Sorry for the PCP, I am an equal opportunity air gun enthusiast View attachment 520376
Well that's pretty awesome. So how far was it to the shelf, 75 or 100yards? You've got the 30 dialed in it looks like. I've only tried mine out to 40, it shot a pretty small group with the H&N baracuda 8, JSB 8.44 not so much.Well, we had a great day at the PB range. My brother generally shows no interest in continuing with air guns afterward, but I had a burning desire and pulled out the 30 anyway.
I had put the gun away shooting 48 moa high, so
I loosened the moa adjustment and put a small screwdriver tip under it, and locked it down. I shot a group 2 moa left of center. I counted out 8 clicks of right and shot hole for hole. The elevation is still set at optical center at 30 yards' point of aim.
So I shot some small targets to confirm, then set up a nice array of targets and handed the the gun to my brother, who came out to see what I was doing. After a few shots he said this is too easy. I said oh, you must not have spotted that primer sitting on the shelf? He says oh yeah! He hit it on shot number three. My son is standing there so my brother hands the HW30 to him.
He pretty closely matched my brothers performance, but not to be out done, he sets a pellet on the shelf and hits it on his third attempt.
Just like ole times!
Beautiful grain in that stockSome after dinner HW35 time. Playing with different pellets at 45 ft. Smoothing out after about 350 projectiles (the gun and me).

Wow! Hope they haven’t started using low quality metal for the breech block. First their bad springs. Now this? When I changed springs on my HW50 .20. Up to then it may have had 500 rounds through it. This seems to me to be excessive wear. View attachment 520525Would brass bushings be better? Crow

This HW30 I'm working on doesn't have 30 pellets thru it yet, so it must be a thang.yes it did

These shims are only .004" thick.MMMMM, maybe a washer of delrin/nylon and some lube? Just a thought. I used to work on machines where we had actual sheets of Teflon about 1/8” in thickness. Used them for slick washers or anything on the machines that needed it. Also a clear plastic sheet to make things slick or put controlled friction to guide envelopes through the folding machines. This stuff could take a permanent slight crease for interesting guides. We had double stick tape that was tenacious. Need a washer make a washer! 500 envelopes per hour was slow. Great idea. CrowThe son and I used to shoot Necco candy discs in the basement. Then shoot the pieces, then if you get cocky shoot the candy disc on edge. If you can hit those candies on edge and then the pieces too, you have a right to be cocky. I use a bit of duct seal on the pellet trap to hold the candy. Most any clay like substance can do the trick. Be Well Brothers, Bandito.
Would brass work? These shims are only .004" thick.
