I'm surprised the springers will even function at 12deg. Any lube is probably froze up..lol. Pellet loading finger is taking all the pain out in the open.Well today I risked loosing a finger. 12F. Light breeze but sunny. The sun kept you warm. Had to wear a hat from the sun, which isnāt normal for me to wear. Took 1 shot almost got knocked out from the scope catching the brim of my hat. Ha ha.
Took out 2 rifles couldnāt get past this HW97kt .25. View attachment 522068Best plinker on the wall. I have a 95 on order in .25 walnut, canāt wait to get. Really love this gun on the range. Crow
I have caught him shooting both ways, but his eye test showed right eye dominant, so I try to keep him righty.20cal, is that little man a lefty? I find I have no lefty stocked guns to leave the grands. Hmmmmm. Be Well Brothers, Bandito. PS. here, I have some neutral stocks and right hand stocks, just no lefties. B.
A nice day for my .177 AA TX200. 12 fpe so super smooth and quiet. My oldest daughter was down from NYC, and once I taught her how to look through a scope... "Eye box: What is that" , she didn't miss a single silhouette. I taught her how to cock and load, but it was a lot quicker for me to do that part for her.View attachment 522516View attachment 522517

My 6 year old grandson took over as best shot over his 8 and 12 year old sisters!

I think in that cold I would need some "high voltage" pants!Took my Pro Sport .177 out for a stretch. Going to get out the electric pants, down to 4F. The sun is so strong the outside of my jacket was warm.
This gun is a dream to shoot. View attachment 522409Took delivery of chairs made in Norway, āStresslessā. Comfortable is not the word. And as good looking as this gun which did its part.
I really donāt notice any difference in performance due to cold. I donāt like the sweating when I bring them in. Crow
Ha ha. You know I went out later in the day. It was 12 deg. warmer, but no sun. It was way colder.I think in that cold I would need some "high voltage" pants!
Living in the deep south, E Texas, it's hard for most of us to relate to those low temps. Reminds me of when I was called up for Desert Storm back in 91. We left San Antonio near midnight when temp was in mid 70's and very humid, landed in Gander, Newfondland next morning as sun was coming up and they said temp was -35 and do not touch the ramp rail getting off the plane unless you have gloves. Then back to low 60's and humid when we hit the UK about 6 hours later. A couple of weeks later we had extreme low temps there, cold enough to use the space between some storm windows in the RAF housing where we were billeted as a refrigerator. As long as wind stayed down the cold did not bother us much, and we did have a lot of snow in that period.Ha ha. You know I went out later in the day. It was 12 deg. warmer, but no sun. It was way colder.
If thereās any wind itās a no show.
The electric will come out after Christmas, after everyone leaves. Crow
If I were her, I'd want to move to Florida.A nice day for my .177 AA TX200. 12 fpe so super smooth and quiet. The big man comes tonight!Picked up the LGV today as each day. When I go into the basement I try to remember to set up a few "shots". No pellets. Just stance, hold, breath control, trigger control, basically dry fire. Wish the trigger group would do a dry fire snap without cocking like my old Browning Medalist 22 pistol. It feels and sounds like a proper release on dry firing. Most wonderful practice, that one! Be Well and Merry Christmas, Bandito.
