What springer did you shoot today?

Went to a local Gun show (PB'S) in hopes of finding air guns . NOPE! well actually their was a very used Daisy model 25 @ $175 (is this guy nuts? ) The model 25 is still in production @ $89 but u think it now has a plastic stock.
Saw some in Tractor supply yesterday..lol, didn't know they had those, no decent pellets so I moved on.

I had company today!
My brother brought his springer since we couldn't do the powder burners today.

I was really proud of the 35e today. i pinned the scope rings and zeroed it yesterday, and double-checked zero this morning. It is set for 75 yards, and my brother brought his Benji Prowler, which was set for 30 yards. He shot and found his was low left at 7:30. So I took the Prowler and gave him the 35e and the 75-yard range. His first shot was at a shotshell. First, he was surprised by the trigger after shooting that Prowler. 😁
Next, I asked, "Did you hit it? He said yes, but it took so long for the pellet to get there. I thought I missed it! Lol, I said that is 75 yards. I got the Prowler dialed in and we had a memorable shoot.

A beautiful day in S. Florida, sorry to my northern brothers (and sisters). Had some time to put a bunch of pellets through my .22 Prosport. I put a TbT kit into it a few days ago, brief initial testing showed that it still worked! and that the power was diminished a bit. But, overall, the rifle was much smoother and fired with a "thunk" instead of a "slam/twang". Prior to the tuning, its favorite pellet was the JTS 18.1. After testing, the best by far was the AA 16.0, with the JTS 16.1 a close second. It's really nice to have a clear winner. Pre kit that pellet was at 13.6 fpe, post 13.3, so not much change. After testing, I cleared 40 silhouettes at various distance in 42 shots :).

Nice. My prosport felt like a cannon after shooting the HW30 since November, I had to think back on my hold and trigger break.

Switching to my 97 isn't to bad because of its weight, and maybe the Vortek kit in it, but the 35e is the cannon. Lol

I was so proud of a model 25 purchase that I made as a boy.
I came across a model 25 "Pop Gun" for about 1/4 the price of the BB gun at a store in town. I looked at the cork contraption and saw that it unscrewed. I went home pulled my model 25 paperwork and saw that the barrel was an inexpensive easy part to order and change.
I went back to town and bought a model 25 pop gun, and took it home and screwed the barrel from my BB gun into it, and Shazam, it became a propper model 25 BB gun. I ordered the parts and gave it to my sister for her birthday, as a pop gun later converting it when the parts arrived.
My sister and her husband visited recently and she recounted that birthday, and a few others where I gave her cool stuff.
Told ya I've been at this a long time. 😁

Way back before 68 you could buy a tube of BB'S and a box of 22 bullets, and a Chick-O-Stick, after a grass cutting job.

I shot a IZH 46m pistol a little yesterday afternoon. The day started off at about 73 degrees early morning, then rain shower, and temp started dropping. When I was shooting temp had dropped to around 55, with gusty winds. I was shooting at handing soda cans and the wind made it interesting. I did knock one off it's hook, and then bounced it back about another 12-15 feet from my 30foot range. My son callled so went in to talk a few minutes then went back and that can had disappeared, I looked around and it had blown about 60 feet back toward my patio and off to the side . Woke up this morning and temp was 22, expecting a high of around 38. Yesterday morning to this morning 51 degrees difference, makes it hard to get used to cold, so staying in and staying warm. I think weather said wind chill was ten degrees.

Once all the company was gone I joined ya in that mess. I took my 35e that had proved reliable the day prior and let em rip. I was on the 75 yard range. Lol
I had some amazing (luck) shots. Three shot shells, and two CO2 cartridges, during the gust transitions, (a small piece of time where you could aim without compensation).
Several of my Crazy Eights hits were on the paddle or two over from the targeted paddle even with wind compensation.
Both windsocks were tangled in the trees before it got dark.

Got a full power Tinbum kit it my R11 today. 1st 10 shots shooting standing behind my tripod @10M indoors. Using Econ II pellets by H&N. Not too bad. The bottom 5 were the first group. I dialed up the scope and did 4 in one hole by the screwdriver tip and a flyer that was most likely me. This is such an impressive piece!
