What springer did you shoot today?

36F and still snowing. Got out for morning shoot with a HW50 .20. That curtain in background is the difference between shooting and not shooting. It stops a light wind which is mercyless.View attachment 528638Another HW50 .177 plastic stock. This gun is one of the perfect hunters. Vortek equip. The 50’s are great guns. View attachment 528640

I rarely use a rear bag.
Temps. are tolerable. Another great day. Fresh snow cleans up the backdrop. Crow|
I think a 50 is my next weihrauch. 🤔

I shot the 75 today!
I know there's a spring in there somewhere. 🤣
At least it's a Weihrauch.
👍

what material is the curtain.... looks like it might work on a deer stand.
It’s like a poly weave. I have one on the lake side facing west. If not for it you couldn’t sit there after 2 in the summer.
I had the same problem with my shooting table in the afternoon sun. Way too hot. You order to size so for shooting and I can stop light winds with tie downs on the corners. Mine is 7ft. X 8 ft. $650. Can. made in California. They work perfectly for sun and wind. Nice you can see through. Crow
I need a shade.
As you can see I haven't done anything about it yet, except avoid shootng at that time of day, or silly stuff like this.

With this shade if it works for you I would highly recommend it. You would laugh at the sun.

TY bro. I have killer sun problems and this may do the trick, but I need to hit an oil well first lol.

I was so proud of a model 25 purchase that I made as a boy.
I came across a model 25 "Pop Gun" for about 1/4 the price of the BB gun at a store in town. I looked at the cork contraption and saw that it unscrewed. I went home pulled my model 25 paperwork and saw that the barrel was an inexpensive easy part to order and change.
I went back to town and bought a model 25 pop gun, and took it home and screwed the barrel from my BB gun into it, and Shazam, it became a propper model 25 BB gun. I ordered the parts and gave it to my sister for her birthday, as a pop gun later converting it when the parts arrived.
My sister and her husband visited recently and she recounted that birthday, and a few others where I gave her cool stuff.
Told ya I've been at this a long time. 😁
At our County Fair when I was a kid, they had galleries set up for the cork gun Daisy. Nice find 😁

Sharon my wife shooting the 300S with Burris 4-12 Compact in basement at 50 ' Snow and cold outside. She is getting into having matches with me !

I do think this may be a new home for me. I have no idea who you are, but the fact that you have this gun probably means that you and I have a great deal in common, my friend.

Another great day of shooting a few great rifles. These two are rivals TX200 .22. My first TX.
IMG_0806.jpeg
I’m lethal with this gun up to 47 yds anyway. No shame with this rifle. Beautiful build. And Accuracy to match.
This is my 47 yd. range.

and the HW 97 .22. Squirrel eliminator.

Neither rifle has any changes. Cleaned all the hanging cans. Crow

I like the small spinners at the top all in a row.
Are the .22's as accurate as the .177's, or can you tell?

The plates have a 1 in. hole with a bell behind. Have 20 bells up.
Just got the 4 in. discs. Aluminum. Wicked sound and a little crater where it hits. Hope to get more.
My buddy has a kick ass fab plant so I go through his cut offs behind shear. The round aluminum disc he gave me 25.
I shoot a lot so I try to get creative. One day I’ll have a moving target. I have power up there as well. I put it everywhere underground when I dug it up.
‘And right now at night with the snow and 20,000 lumens is the absolute best shooting. Crow

What’s really cool the skirt of the round reflects the light so easy to watch travel with scope. All those specks on the driveway are targets. Crow As long as there’s no wind.

Beautiful gun! what do you shoot with that? and how does it shoot? I am completely ignorant about everything.
It is a Weihrauch HW75.
It is a low powered "apx 400 fps" very accurate, over the top cocking, single stroke pneumatic.
It's a 1.77 shooting .7gr flat nose pellets.
With a scope using front, and rear bags, you can shoot buttons at 25 yards.
With the scope off, its a decent 10 meter offhand (intro) competion pistol.
The trigger is unbelievable. 👍

very nice!

20F. if I didn’t have the blind I couldn’t shoot. Stopped the breeze and the suns rays warmed you up. Started with this Barakuda.22. Gem of a rifle. Was picking cans at 30 yds. Fun gun. Very similar to the 35.
IMG_0812.jpeg
Another older rifle a 1968 HW50 .177. Lots of fun to shoot. Looks like this was used for a club. Love the smoke after each shot.
IMG_0815.jpeg
This rifle a R7 .177. I scored fairly recently.
IMG_0818.jpeg
I think I put a spring in here but didn’t write down. Someone added to the butt. I think a Beaver missing a tooth could have cut a tighter fit. Gun shoots like a dream.
IMG_0819.jpeg
These are some of my winter targets. All ground targets picked up for winter. My buddy cut the spinners. When he gets a chance I asked him to cut some T-rex’s.

Last up a HW50 .22 has a Vortek spring . No piston seal. A shooter. Destroyed 3 cans.

Great start to a day. Crow
