What springer did you shoot today?

If fighting poi be sure your parallels is adjusted properly. Just turning the knob until is clear is not sufficient. With a stable position slightly move your head up and down and see if your x hairs are bobbing. On lower line scopes, say those under 1000.00 the parallex is often off when the target is 100 percent sharp and clear. Adjusting the knob is very critical and almost a matter of luck landinding on the perfect spot if not impossible. Now the way around that is a Sightron SVED with the dual knob, truly a marvel, but at s cost in the 2500 dollar range. But when its not perfect it is primed for poi problems.

It was 13 degrees in the desert this morning. Brilliant sun at 4k feet. On the south side of the house it's 73 degrees. In the shade it's 20.

You can peel your shirt off and get a tan as long as your close to the south wall. Step away 3 feet and the cold dry air goes through 1/4" of wool like a knife. When we lose the sun this evening it's going to get real.
It's 14 deg here at 600' as well.

I am fortunate to have those parallax/focus in sinc on both my Ellement and Athelon scopes.

So, 20 cal, you remember the big one in '62? That was epic. We had friends that stayed in town with us as they couldn't get up the state highway to their farm. There was no Interstate 35 from KC to Des Moines. Only US69 N to S AND E to W was US 36. From Winston Mo North to the Iowa line the truckers nicknamed 69 highway the Ho Chi Minh trail. I only had a Daisy 25 or we could have had a hay day on rabbits in town. There was little they could reach to eat except bark on the neighbor ladies' rose bushes. Be Well Brothers, B.

Well it's 10 degrees out there right now y'all!

My Wife ...Sharon ...BEAT ME ! last night shooting the 300s with Irons.... LOL Hope you guys getting dumped on with snow in the Southern States do OK. Snow in Houston ??? Wow..To have snow on the Gulf Of America is unheard of.........
Yes, I was stationed at Eglin, AFB, at Fort Walton about 45 years ago. We got very cold there a couple of times, where the edges of the bay actually had ice form. It did snow a couple of times that winter, but no real accumulation.

I saw where I think it was Milton, which was abour 40 miles NE of there got 7.5" of snow yesterday.

I am just glad I am no longer there, heating systems in most houses are not set up for that cold.

Eglin AFB, I won two first place trophies there my first two seasons of RC precision aerobatics.

Well, I shot this evening, in 25 deg and still snow on the ground from yesterday. I know this isn't as cold as Crows temps, but in NC it's a little chilly..lol.
Previously I had my trigger on the 97K adjusted with almost no 1st stage, and it worked well. But yesterday I took the trigger out and set it back up with all the first stage, and hardly any second stage to break the shot. I also used blue lock tight on all the stock screws, as well as the boss that screws into the receiver that the large trigger guard screw goes into.
So today I tested the QYS domed 8.48 and the H&N baracuda FT 9.57 at 40 yards.

I only shot 3 groups with the baracuda's so more testing with those later. The middle group at the top was going to be a "one holer", but I pulled one and opened it up. Also the bottom left with the baracuda's was a really good group, I had to hold over about a mill dot for those.

Next week it's supposed to be in the mid 50's a couple of days, and it will feel like summer time.🌞🌞🌞
