What springer did you shoot today?

Do have a 97 in 25cal as well?
I took two rifles out to shoot this afternoon. I started with the HW97kt .25 cal. No upgrades.

Can’t stop shooting this gun. So accurate and when it hits you know it. I never did shoot the other rifle. Crow

What's the velocity, around 500fps?

Shot the HW30 out to 40 yards at the gamo knock down rest set target, and shot some groups. There was wind so had to use Kentucky windage. The little 30 is very accurate with the AA 7.87's and averaging 684 fps.

🙋🏼‍♂️✌🏻
Such a sweet gun. Have a half dozen with a stainless .22 en route to make 7. I’m mixing the springs to make all unique. These will probably be the final springers at the end of the rainbow. Crow

bustachip, I am pretty new to the HW30, got mine last week and posted. Shot it on Friday with dead wind, I could hit a crumpled pop can with relative ease at 38 paces. Without the recoil it seems to shoot as well as my HW95! 585 fps with 177 super domes.
Do the super domes fit really tight in your barrel?
I tried several different pellets, JSB 7.33, AA falcon 7.33, AA 7.87, JSB 8,44, AA 8.44, RWS super dome 8.3, H&N 8 8.44, H&N baracuda FT 9.57, QYS 8.48, but it ended up grouping the best at 40 yards with the AA 7.87's.
Most people say the 7.33's group the best out of their HW30's, but you have to prove that yourself through testing.

Mine is a.20, and for about ten tins I only used JSB 13.73's. I switched to H&N FTT's to make my last HW30 video. I was shooting 75 yards, and needed more zoom in the scope because I was using holdover and the cross hair blocked the veiw of the target. The FTT are lighter at 11.49gr and plug in easier than the 13.73's.
Anyway that gave me a flatter trajectory alowing me to turn up the zoom and use the same hold over aim point on the reticle.

How does the accuracy compare between the two?

I haven't shot it since then, so I haven't concentrated on that. The FTT's pulled off the shot with three attempts, on a shotshell at 75y. I've done that plus more with the 13.79's and the HW30 in the past. 👍
