What springer did you shoot today?

Morning shoot 35F. and snowing hard. Shot a Diana 34 .177. I think I can thread a needle with this. Wish I knew a little more on its history. Very nice shooter.

Weather is up and down like a toilet seat.

Check out the snow targets, there’s 50. Snow targets are the best, and the price is right. Crow

Lotta ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️

Crow there are over 50 targets right there. If they go away you could always make a circle with the blade. That should stir up some more. I am thinking about making a series of throw away box targets and reuse the shredded rubber fill. Still haven't shot my necco candies yet. Will use the OUTERS' bullet trap for that. Be Well Brothers, Bandito.

Afternoon shoot with 3 stainless beauties. First a HW80 Black .22 cal. Very accurate, my best 80.
IMG_1051.jpeg
Got 4 inches of wet snow so far.
Next a HW97 Blackline .22. A gem of a squirrel gun. This one is in the squirrel hall of fame already.
IMG_1053.jpeg
Last a HW97 .20. Man, what an unbelievable gun. One of the guns I have coming from AoA is a 97 thumbhole Walnut .20 cal. Can’t wait. Bought before Christmas, hopefully soon. Tariffs lifted for month so I’m hoping I can get a few springs as well.
IMG_1054.jpeg
I walked over to check my weathervane, I think 2 yrs old.
IMG_1056.jpeg
Walking back I noticed my targets, behind the Remington is main range. I can get 80 yds. circled.

In the summer I can place my second table here by shed and shoot down drive. Piece of cake. Crow

That's a cool weather gun, shooting in the East.
The cowboy also is a nice touch. You have a sweet layout, never have to leave the house, except to go to the post office to pick up more rifles..lol. Home sweet home on the range.

Today’s snow would make the best targets. But my winch is euchred which means no plow. I’ll blow it. Not the same results. Shooting in the snow is the best. So easy to watch your shot in scope. Crow

Necos are the best!… we used to run a saw kerf in a plank, nail it to the top of a fence post, and line them up….we would start at the outside and work towards the middle…whoever got more won…those were the days. and we didn’t have to clean up any mess..the dew took care of the pieces. John

Made an error. I have a 22coming in a Diana 54. But no 22 in a gas ram. I have two 90s and a Webley GRT but have 177, 20, and 25. I somehow skipped over the 22. I do have other 22s. Must get searching. I can remember I was going for a certain gas ram model of Cometa or one springer with a gas ram kit. They were out of both. In search mode, beginning now. Be Well Brothers, Bandito.

Thanks. My wife found it, saved the marriage.
Bought the Remington in Las Vegas. Used to have too big a house. Had to throw outside.
I’m itching for the PO to give me a call for a few pick ups. Crow

I shot the 35e today. I switched ammo to the FTT 5.54, 14.66 .22 cals. The re-zero took 3.75 moa of down from the JSB 15.89s.
Started really good clearing seven of the Eights, but I couldn't hit #8. I saw a hit low, and dialed it out. Then between the wind and whatever was hampering me I had great difficulty with the reset. I did manage to hit it five times, but it didn't reset. I must have shot 50 to get 5 unsuccessful hits.
So, time to put up paper to have a l👀k at the mess!

Every shot was centered and finessed with no regard for the wind, which gusted both directions during the shoot. Becase of that I excuse the R and L anomalies, and concider the problem to the verticle pattern. I also concider zero to be about 1 moa right.
Having a look at the rifle, I found no loose screws. The scope basses were tight, and I had pinned them because this has been such a problem.
So that only left the ring clamps which were torqed to manufacturer spec.
I didn't catch it at first. The rings and scope are clean up top but a look under the bottom with a strong light showed movement.

Each screw took almost a quarter turn with no regard to torqe. So that might help. Those markings weren't there prior to this shoot so we'll see.
these were 5.54s I also have 5.53s to test.

Hey Crow! Is that Post Office or Parole Officer? GRIN! B. PS My wife is my Parole Officer.
Ha ha. Good one. My wife acts like one at times as well.
I tell my wife she must of been a sailor in her past life. The one beating the drum at the back of the boat. Crow
Giving Tom a call at Vortek today.

Bandito, the 54 is an amazing. Never had mine apart, still don’t understand it. But accurate at distances with a wack. Crow
