On the wall the 30s 50s and the very special Beeman R10 all 177

The two laminated stocked rifles, my only 22's, the 54D and 77k S.E. along with 77k in 177.

Walnut halls paper a chicken silhouette and a gallon jug 110 yards out in the field are all I got to shoot at, to icy to chase targets!

Don't want to do like my wife did Thurday morning when she took the dog out at 7am, kinda ruined here day, but after she waited till 12 hours later to go to the doctor, she found out she was just bruised, I don't know how, but need to find out how I would fair either! I'll stay on the deck and keep polishing the bores of my rifles with pellets.
I had that same fall one year, but I was unaware and realy moving. The porch deck hit me lower back, then I slid down the concrete steps with my head bouncing off of each step (4), I slid about ten feet out into the yard. I laid there looking up up at the sleet. It seemed like forever to suck in a breath of air. Then another forever to figure out how I was going to get up. I hope she's ok.

Yep I'd say good as new, but I remember them days and they are long gone,,,;)

But she went back to work today, still a bit sore, but she said she wanted to get out of the house and back to work, I think she just wanted to get away from me? one thing is for sure, she's a tough old broad,, probably got me to thank for that,,,, it aint been easy all these years, (y)
Glad your wife is healing. One of the biggest scares as time goes on.
Could do a conference on wipeouts. Had a few stairs I thought I was going to put a cross under them. Crow

Beautiful morning, 28F and soon to get one of the worst storms of the winter.
2 priceless rifles a HW95 .20. only had JSB 15.89 on hand and it delivered with ease.

And a mirror image a Beeman R9 .20. Hall of fame stuff. Both guns need a spring, won’t be long.

Have to check my machinery this aft for snow removal. Supposed to snow heavy for next 4 days. Crow

Took 2 favorites a HW77k .25, still have to fix this twang. But shooting nicely.

And a close cousin a HW97 .25. The screen saved the day, it was windy.

I was closing the door on the elevator and and my hand slipped off the end of my 97. The gun rolled over the scope and put a nice dent in the floor. No damage to gun. Shooting was deadly.
Blizzard on the go now. Crow

That gun looks awesome. I’ve looked at that gun at AoA so many times, just slipped through the cracks. One day.
Is it .177 or .22?
Crow
It is a .22
This one has a pretty strong recoil in comparison to the 97, and 95. It was tough getting the scope locked down. I drilled and tapped a 10/32 screw into the rings bass, after that the scope started slipping in the rings. It's been too windy for any quality testing.
After an ammo change to FTTs and a re-zero. I shot through the Crazy 8s, but the wind was the victor for the day. 👍

Day off, another storm coming soon. Shot a HW95 .177. Just blown away by the accuracy and clean sound. Through 3/8 hole 47 yds. regularly. Wow. Looked up and the culprit is a 12 FPE Vortek spring. One of my first. I have 4 en route as we speak. Can’t wait. Talk about a transformation.

And next a R9 .177.

I fought with this. It was shooting 2 feet to the left at 35 yds. Took scope off, no luck. Something is wrong. Never dropped. Going to put on a different scope for starters. On the work pile. Crow

Wow. I had similar problem with my Daisy target rifle shooting left and low. I knew That I was going to have the problem before I ever shot it. I opticaly centered the scope prior to installing it. After it was installed, I looked down the muzzle end and saw a non isometric, or crooked view through the scope. The next day I shot it and didn't have enough adjustment to dial it out. When I looked down the muzzle into the scope it was almost an isometric circular veiw. I wound up using tape to shim this one nto position.

Interested to see what you have going with yours.
