your very encouraging to this soon 9/9/25 80 year old .Monthly field target match at Bay Point (Concord), CA.
I shot today with the senior division world field target federation champion, Sun Lu.
He shot WFTF with his highly modified TX200.
Me, I shot with TX200 #2, 16.5 fpe with the beech stock, off the bucket and sticks.
I don’t use drop data, I just aim, focus and shoot.
39/62…63%
Not too bad for a partially handicapped, soon to be 80 (hopefully, but that story has yet to be told) year old curmudgeon.

Very fortunate on that deal. Was excited to shoot my new-to-me FWB 150. A lucky Ebay find from a great seller. It checked some boxes: FWB, side lever, sled. First one I've ever shot and I am amazed at how quiet and smooth it is. Of course, it's a 6.3 fpe rifle, it should be easy going. It came with the original diopter sight with an eye cup. But I'm not a ten meter shooter so I scoped it immediately. At 25 yards with some wind it was super accurate with JSB 7.33 and AA 8.4. The AA Falcon 7.3's were also great. I tried a couple target pellets but the diabolo were so much easier to load and much more accurate at distance. And I asked the seller what spring/tune it had (he had mentioned that it was recently tuned/resealed). He casually replied that it was done by David Slade at Airgunwerks. This rifle may need it's own thread...Cheers!

Nice lumber on that one. I guess the paint doesn't dry, just freezes..lol?Went to shovel out my targets, I have to paint them frequently. There’s a set of stairs under there. Looks impossible. View attachment 539927Went in from another drive and got lucky and got the 5 ft. blower in there without breaking a shear pin. Talk about a lucky break. Took 10 min. instead of a few hours of shoveling. View attachment 539931And once I repainted my targets, I turned on a HW35 .177 on them. Been 3 days.View attachment 539932Crow

Need pics. CrowShot my old Beeman R1 and Weihrauch HW97K both in .177. Didn't have time to shoot my Diana model 52 with the Vortek kit in it. Will start with that one tomorrow.
Not familiar with this rifle. Being a FWB has to be smooth as silk. Another gem. Thanks for sharing. CrowWas excited to shoot my new-to-me FWB 150. A lucky Ebay find from a great seller. Going to shoot this again and crony it. Crow
It’s cold but the sun warms you up where I start undoing my jacket.Sounds like a perfect morning. Got the gun room all squared away?
30 to 40 mph winds here lately, snowed again today. I shot the 97K Monday in the wind trying to see how much hold off was needed, one to two, to two and half MOA in gusting wind, still managed a couple of decent groups.NothingI haven't shot since Monday when I was accuracy testing the R8. It's been too cold and windy to shoot since and will be until at least Saturday.
I have stuff to sort out and I need better weather. Sorry I needed to vent.
Don't know where my 98 is?It’s cold but the sun warms you up where I start undoing my jacket.
Never did anything in gun room. Boxes were cluttering the furnace room. Gun room needs some time. Crow
‘Got out in afternnoon with a HW30 .20. Flies and Wasps are in big trouble this summer. Great gun.View attachment 540253Last gun ,on a great day a HW98 .20. I’m hooked on the .20 cal. View attachment 540254The 98‘s in my hall of fame. Pulled off some nice shots. Snow makes some of the best targets.
Oh. Got 4 Arc springs delivered while shooting. Crow
