What springer did you shoot today?

Thanks. I’ve cut down over a 1000 trees. Again this is different. You have to watch for breakage still hung up. Every tree has got preassure on it. I’m psyching myself to go out soon. Crow

Thanks. I’m already burned out from yesterday. I’m capable to do yesterday’s work load, just takes 3 times longer.
I’m just under 2 acres, that’s enough of this. Crow
Dozed off forgot to send last night.

That’s unfortunate, hope your shoulder heals.
There’s days I pay for my past. Hard to shoot. Used to ride dirt bikes, down hill skied and played way too much Foos ball. Crow

Thanks Gary. My tractor saved the day. Does the work of 50. 2 crews and myself, we can now get out. WowView attachment 551685Going to be, they’re saying up to 2 weeks no power. Crow
That's crazy, good luck out there.

What a relief to be shooting. Also shot a HW30 .177. Right now it’s about all I can jack.

The ram moves the best, top heavy. I’m hoping the door springs move the same. I didn’t think my welds would hold.
Surprised I don’t have a camera, when to get one a few times and got sidetracked. Crow
I use a cell phone to record with using a short microphone stand with clamps to hold it. The same stand that I clamp my pocket chrony, or flashlight on.

I had these delivered about an hour ago. I’ll weld them up tomorrow. The springs might be too light to weld.🤞View attachment 550927Hope thes work. Crow
I was thinking that you might weld a bolt to the targets and screw them into the springs.

We were listening one icy night just waiting out the storm. Every now and then pow. A branch would give way. Then we both jumped as a power transformer blew within a 100 yards or less as we saw a flash. Be Well Brothers, B.
That is no good during tornado warnings.
Electrical archs and flashes are the foot prints of those guys.

So what are you going to do now about shooting your pellet rifles?
Devolope the woods in back, and build a concealed shooting bench.

I have a building with a deck connecting to the house that will do nicely, but will involve some serious work for this 69 year old and his chainsaw.

I have a little over a hundred yards back there to the property line.
I will have to change the backside window to an extra wide one for guests, aswell as build a nice shooting bench.
A lot of work incuding finishing the porch, handicap ramp and skirting.

Been working with a Diana 34 EMS Lawrence of Arabia in .177 these past couple of weeks.

This is a really nice rifle that's been shooting extremely well.

I've been trying everything that I have pellet wise and I'm finding that so far it's liking the SIG Venom RN 7.87 with 876 fps AVG / 4.5 SD and Good ol USA Crosman 7.9 HP at 864 fps AVG / 12ish SD. Interestingly both are showing extremely tight groups but I'm still indoors due to the cold.

The heavy pellets are next to try and once I get the sights sorted better, I know that this rifle is going to be a favorite.

That's a good group, at what range?

Just across the basement for primarily for velocity testing.

I can hit a half dollar size swinger repeatedly using what I call a modified bench rest, meaning elbows on the bench, with open sights @ 35 yards so far.

The trigger is pretty good too, lots of adjustment.

More to follow once I get the sights sorted.

Thanks for asking.

I try to get out everyday for at least 50 shots--shot my Rest Best tuned R10--my alltime fav--and spot on at 20 yards--solid, easy--just begs to be shot

Took out the BSA .22 Supersport--stretched her legs with a few HN FTT--was off a little so I went to the indoor range and fixed her up--what a breeze--

We listened to branches and trees breaking for 3 days straight and lived for three days without electricity and said to hell with it. Moved south an hour and a half to Clare and holed up in the Doherty Hotel . Gaylord Michigan looks like a hurricane went through destroying all the trees. We will return when the power is restored and start the long process of cleaning up our home and neighborhood.
