What springer did you shoot today?

Got a morning shoot in for 1 1/2 hours. Pouring rain, mid Feb. again crazy. Four hungry guns.

TX200 .22, HW97 Blackline .22, HW80 .177 and Diana 54 Pro .22.
The Diana, to me is so odd. It feels like it’s falling apart. Yet so accurate and probably one of my hardest hitters. My first shot with the 80 was bullseye. Then it ended, it was all over, looked like a Thompson machine gun. Only had time for TX and it lived up to its reputation. Crow

Well 2-15-23 NO WIND so the hW90 22 cal had to redeem herself, shot the coarse 25 to 55 yards 😃 Then out came the Diana 48 177 cal . Diana an I go back she’s probably the reason I love springers . I hate to love her but I do . stock to short. So she wears a slip on recoil pad adds an inch , no cheek piece so she wears foam shipping wrap an gray duck tap . Best fitting gun I own 😃😃 really

As long as it shoots to your satisfaction, who cares. The 90 looks deadly.
The 90 was my first Weihrauch I bought almost 4 yrs. ago. It’s a wonder I bought another Weihrauch. It was a nightmare. Took it up my buddies to walk though the woods. Almost needed rescue team. It was heavy, extremely difficult to jack and breath on trigger it went off.
A member Jayjay did an awesome post on the 90. Talked me into another one. I saw the .20 cal. and couldn’t resist with the gauge and pump about a year ago. Looking forward to shooting the .20 cal. All in due time.
I’m doing a drive by today, AGS. Always risky. Crow

Just picked up this TX200 in .22 this morning at PA. Put a scope on it and fired it in basement. Made three adjustments, 4th and 5th pellets were same hole, dead on. Only 25’ but so far so good. This is a beautiful rifle.
My Alkin is saying WTF ??

Nice gun and grain. Amazing guns. Enjoy your gem. Crow
Shot this one a bit earlier w open sights at 20yds. Motörhead tuned shooting so good
View attachment 332947I really like the design on this rifle. Love the finger guard. Crow
shot HW35 .177 naked then with a HW moderator no difference in sound that i can tell , was just playing . maybe i need to clean and put new lube in ? this is the one i picked from the junk yard. have not done anything to it , lot of spring noise but shoots straight .
Always great to have a project. I have a garbage bin gun as well. Crow

Y’all are making me jealous. was out of town and came back to 40 mph wind g
figuring out what the little 30 likes best today, although it was snowy and windy. So far it likes JSB 7.33g Exacts the best.

Those are the pellets most people end up with. The AA Falcons in 7.33 are even better.

Went out for morning shoot, grabbed R9 .20. When I got to my bench, (close but no cigar) scooped a HW 95 .22 by mistake. Same thing only different. What a solid gun, once scoped in the spinners were screaming in pain.
This is one of the perfect hunting rifles Weihrauch produces.

Can’t wait to put a spring set in this puppy. Can’t imagine it better. So far the springs have been huge. Crow

I did put a spring kit in my HW97 .20, and a difference indeed. Had 3-95 spring kits, only enough for a third of that size rifle. Crow
Well today the HW95 field pro 177 cal again. I’m thinking about ordering a 22 cal barrel for this unit. AOA has them in stock . For some reason just can’t seem to get in a good place with this gun . Even after the ARH spring kit . Any thoughts a lot of you like the 22 in this model View attachment 333428
The muzzle end looks awesome.
I shot the .22 today. It was lethal. Tomorrow I’ll try the .177, if I remember, I’ll let you know. I really like .20. Crow

Played 3 rounds of Golf Clash Tournament. Still got 2 hours of shooting in with another favorite HW97TH .25. I love this gun.

5 shots at each hole. 3/8 in. hole. 6-7 through, couple with light ring. 30 yds. Windy.
I have all 4 calibres in the 97. The .25 makes the loudest ring when hitting plates. It makes the spinners spin more as well. I find the accuracy “good enuff for the girls I go out with”. Great gun to shoot. Crow

Got the 97 .25 out again. This thing is addictive. Destroyed cans with it at 30 yds. I cut them in two. Some cans have one or two smaller cans inside. Big holes with the .25 cal.

24 F. wind gusts but sunny, Got 1 1/2 hr. in.

My keeper. And then after a dose of the 97 I pulled out a HW50 .22, another keeper. Between the two rifles I dropped 5 cans to the ground.
I put a Vortek spring in this laser.

This rifle finished off the cans. This gun is a blast to shoot on the range. Love the difference of the Vortek. Crow

Got to spend some time with the little HW30S today. The Leupold 3-9 EFR is a perfect match. I was shooting the JSB 7.33 Exacts with decent results but I thought I might experiment with the FTT Green 5.71 grain. I did clean the barrel really well before trying the new pellets...They did pretty good for an initial round at 22 meters considering I was caffeinated and in a hurry. I'm pretty sure they could do even better but for now all critters better beware out to 30 meters!
