What springer did you shoot today?

Beautiful guns . Which one do you prefer?
Dam good question.
I really really like the LGU, it’s special. The only thing that edges it out is the loading the breach and bear trap. I can load my LGU easier than my TX200’s. The 97 is so much more generous. Can’t beat the smoothness of the LGU. Wish I had more as well the LGV.
ironically, I have three racks of Weihrauchs. The LGU is the only oddball gun with them, and it sits under the 97’s. Crow

Got a few stubborn ones myself. Get your self a HW30. “You will take back things, you didn’t even steal”, they’re that good. We only get old once. Crow

Not familiar with gun. Enjoy.
Don’t like the wind. Crow

Wow.,Nice movement on the wood.
Not too shabby on the shooting. Thanks for sharing. Crow

The recoilless are so cool. I have a few but haven’t spent any time with them.
Cans pay the price so nicely. Crow
Yes, I have an old sawhorse with a pellet trap for paper targets setting on top. I have 4 pieces of nylon cord tied around the crosspiece with S hooks on the end so I can quickly attach a soda can via the pull tab, works great, occasionally I make a really good hit and knock the can off the hook. I like the action of seeing the can jump, or in the case of more powerful guns just seeing it sway a little as the pellet flies through.

I take needle nose, pliers at the top lid and twist it in and have about half an inch of the needle ripping through the side of the can to make an opening. I use fencing wire to hold it up. Are use fencing wire to hold it up. Anywhere from one to four cans inside one another.

Thank God the temps went up to a balmy 15 F. The breeze was a killer so I dropped my sun shade which attaches to the floor. Stopped the wind. Took these two hunnies out. HW35E .22 and HW77kl .177.

This gun punished the targets.
I have so many different sized plates which all ring differently. I think I could join a band. The talents that come out.

Gave the new heavy spinners a pounding, they are guaranteed for life. Crow

Yesterday the wind had finally decided to slack up some, only SE @ 5 mph. It was overcast and 82°, I went out about 1:30 in the afternoon and shot about 50 pellets with my R9. Shooting 1-1/2" spinners at 40 and 45 yards. Also some tin cans hanging from tree limbs at 60 yds.

Then I shot my DIANA D34 TO6 Classic .177 about the same amount but only this time at 45 and 60 yds.: 1-1/2 spinners at 45 yds and 2" at 60.

I was shooting above par yesterday. Both rifles made me proud.

Sighted in a new scope and chronied the 97 this week. Tested with FTTs and set the zero at 14 yards.

I like the camo. Looks killer. Crow
Diana AirKing Pro .177 cal in beech, just zeroed with scope and zr style spring mount as its a scope killer. Oh I appreciate Hawke scopes more and more. Sparrows better watch out.

Nice grain on your stock. I have the same with the Lam stock in .22. Did the same scope setup. So far so good. Amazing accuracy. Enjoy your gun. Looks good! Crow

That’s decent shooting at 45 and 60 yds. I like your weather. 16 F. now. Crow

Got out for a morning shoot, 16 F. I have two of my favorites for plinking and destroying cans. HW77K and HW97k both in .25 cal.
I have a sun shade blind to my right which ties into the floor. I bought it because in the summer the sun will fry you after 1 pm. Well it works miracles to stop the wind. Without it, it’s a no go. Behind the 77 and you can still see through it.

As far as I’m concerned these both belong in the Plinking Hall of Fame. destroyed cans like no other. And the spinners swing a little more with each hit. Dirty accuracy. on my range to 45 yds.
I’m a sucker for thumbholes.

Another big plus is loading a .25 cal round, so much easier to handle.
I couldn’t stop shooting even though it was only 16 F. and with frostbite in 3 fingers. Crow

I brought my HW50 .22 cal out today.
Topped with a Hawke Airmax 4-12x40AO shooting at 10 power using H&N Field Target Trophy 14.66gr 5.53mm.
This rifle is in a three-way tie for my most favorite. The other two are: R7 .177 & HW97K .177.

Today I was updating my dope card for this rifle now zeroed at 30 yards.

I was able to hit 1/2" spinners at 30 yds and 1-1/2" spinners out to 45 yds. Soup cans every shot at 50, and 60 yards placing my hits on top of one another.

No wind at all.

This was definitely a fun afternoon.

Weihrauch break barrel day. HW35E .177 and HW95 Luxus .22. Might be my 2 favorite break barrels. Spinners, Cooper the squirrel and chalk targets. Chalk is a blast, they get smaller and smaller and you end up shooting at nickel and dime sized pieces. Then we gather it up and Kim and the grandkids can color on the driveway and sidewalks ha ha ha. Felt good after work and weather put the kibosh on much shooting the last couple weeks.
