What springer did you shoot today?

Every day just gets better morning in the 40’s and sunny little breeze. Long barrels on the mind today. Started off with FWB 124 sport. This gun set the bar. An absolute tack driver. This gun needs more force to break than any other gun. Cocking easy and closing smooth.

Next up was a HW85 .22. This gun would shoot two dead on then two 2 inch’s low and to the right. Over and over again. Using JSB 14.35, Gave it a rest after 30 rounds of back and forth.

I scooped two more long barrels. Another HW85 .177 and a Diana 34 .177. The 85 started and was perfect, what a gun. Back in the saddle again. This gun has to have a talk with its twin.

I finished off with a 34 .177. This is easy to shoot and accurate. I would like one of these in .22. Crow

Another nice showing. I have never seen a listing here in the states for the HW85 Krale in the Netherlands has them. Looking at the specs the HW85. an the HW95 are the same . only. The 85 has a 500 mm barrel a the 95 has a 410 mm barrel Is this correct ? I agree with you about the Diana 34 I’m still looking for an affordable replacement barrel for mine . thank again oh glade it’s getting warm there 😃😃

I was under the impression the 85 was the same as the 95, 98 and R9 power wise. Yes barrel length is the difference. Awesome day, 5 hours on the guns. That’s productive. Crow

Again great weather snow is disappearing. Thumbholes are a favourite and this HW97 .22 is a killer. This one hasn’t been tuned yet. Should be sweet.

I then got out a favorite. An LGU Varmite .22. Had this a few years. Never once disappointed me. Easy to hold. Really enjoy this gun.

It just doesn’t get much better. I would really like a LGV as well. IMO we should all beg for Walthers to bring back these guns.
A member Sean can’t remember name, he shot 97’s, TX’s and the LGU, and a hell of a good shooter. Any way, over a year ago, he made the Rowan trigger sound so good I got one. He said they were easy to install. Never had that gun apart. Hopefully soon.
‘I risked my life to get this pic. 35 yds. away and 12 foot vehicle hill. 5 shots 4th went through. Hit below not part of 5.

I have another thumbhole but this gun jumped off the rack. It’s a HW77 .25. This gun glowed. Really impressed with these .25 cal.

What a gun! This 77 was so predictable. I was shooting the edge of melting snow. With the .25, nice little splash. This is again 35 yds. 5 shots, with the 77. Worth the climb to get a pic.

The .25 are a blast for plinking. Crow

This here. This one is .22 fresh off the boat last night from a member here. Made in 2005 or 2006 based on SN. Whole lotta fun. First time shooting a spring pistol. There’s a learning curve.

Nice score. Great gun. Totally different from rifles. A lot harder than it looks. I’m pulling mine out when it worms up. Crow

Just like golf. Whole lot harder than it looks on TV ha ha. Warm here but 30+ mph winds all week added to the challenge. How is your trigger? Mine is pretty good, but there’s a great set of videos by JimmieDee on how to adjust if needed.

I haven’t used latly. Hopefully soon. Just had eyes tested yesterda, new eyes coming. Bring out the pistols and iron sights, throwing the white cane away. I like golf, hooked on Golf Clash just play tournaments.
‘I don’t know how to do links so I took a pick from a post of a questionable member, who was full of knowledge. I hope this helps.

Once zeroed in laser.
Did I ever say awesome gun. I’ve got the jacking down to a science. Sweet gun. Next gun was a HW50 .177.

This gun I fiddled with the scope non stop. I found this gun very sensitive. Once tamed, sweet. We lost a lot of snow, I’m on the south shore so it stays the longest. This is behind me when I shoot. Still 1/2 frozen.

It’s in a class of its own, IMO. Not only does it look good, it feels good and is deadly accurate.
The 50 is a gem. Better get some more lead. Congratulations. A superb rifle.
Once the sun pounds through, game over for the snow. We’re getting 5 inch’s to nite. I took my plow off this morning.
‘Really nice here. If I go left I’ll hit Georgian Bay. If I go right I go to Lake Ontario, then anywhere.
Too bad you have crap weather.
