What springer did you shoot today?

Nice.
there is a learning curve, but when you get it down they are a blast. I love mine

Nice. What pellets are you using? Mine seems very happy with the FTT and since I have a ton of them that’s a good thing. I’m sitting around waiting for Brown Santa to show up. Wish he’d hurry!

Serendipity strikes again!
I just saw an ad for an EmGe for sale, and this one has some sort of magazine. Never saw that before, all I've seen have been single shots
The magazine itself is missing, and presumably lost to the world

one of the ones i will be looking for at upcoming Air gun shows , very nice

This is total addiction, I’m out 3rd session today with one of my newest favorites. If Frogy never posted his 90, mine would still be on the rack, collecting dust. Again thanks, this gun is a dream. And so is the .25 cal.

Got to love the longer days. Still light at 8 pm. I don’t think you guys closer the equator get the long days. Here June July it gets lite at 5:30 am till 9:15 pm. The further North the longer the day. Thpic is at 7.30 pm. Crow

Brown Santa brought this today. Seems to be in good shape overall. Way low on power. Not sure if it was tuned down or if there’s an issue. Get it on the chrono tomorrow and go from there. Suspect it belonged to someone who wasn’t real clear on what they were doing. For one thing, the reticle is canted about 10 degrees left. Believe it needs some sled adjustment. All things considered it shot pretty well from about 15 yards. Start looking Into what TLC it needs tomorrow.

Sweet looking rifle. I like their stocks, nice lines. They have nice rubber on the butt.
I’ve found 1/2 the used rifles I’ve picked up, there something wrong with them.
‘I have a 54, TBH I don’t know how to maintain it yet. Enjoy your new toy. Crow

Did you see Hector’s thread with the link to Nitrocrushr’s excellent write up on the work he did on the CCA D54? Those two are about as knowledgeable as you’ll get with the 54/56 platform. And fortunately, Steve did one a while back on the 56TH too.

Had a HW98 .22 out for a morning shoot. This has to be one of the easiest guns to shoot. Easy to jack and a great feeling gun.
We only got 2 inches of slop instead of 6 inches snow. Today 38 F. 30 - 40 mph winds, but I’m sheltered.

I couldn’t resist the HW90 .20. I am hooked on this one.

Can this gun ever deliver. Love the sounds, so much more different. The next pic, 30 yds. 3/8 hole 10 shots. I pulled the one shot, my bad habit.

I’m impressed with the 90. Crow

I saved it. The .20 cal. 54 project. He does the 56th. Nice gun. I can e-mail it to you, don’t know how any other way. Crow
I have both those write ups bookmarked. And have already gotten some input from both those guys as well so I’m good. Deciding on spring and piston sleeve combos right now ha ha. Actually going to redo the HW45 while I’m at it.

Started pulling 56TH apart today and soon realized I need to make an adapter to use the Rail Lock on it. Had enough of power tools yesterday so decided to wait a day or two. Grabbed the 97K long and did a little shooting. Such a great gun. Mentioned to Kim that custom stocks make great birthday presents 😁

Hey tell Kim my birthday’s in July.
97’s are a fantastic gun. All mine are K models. I have 77’s with long barrel and really like them. Enjoy, Crow
Kinda gloomy and 50 degrees today but had to get out of the house!
FWB sport likes several different pellets but grabbed the AA 8.4 in 4.51 head size today!
Stopped off to feed the kitties! View attachment 343525View attachment 343526
Does that ever look sweet. Is that a sleeve or barrel weight. I like what you did.
You must be a really good shot, kitty looks well fed. Crow

Finally some decent weather in NE for shooting. My new R9 in .177 came with an Mantis scope but I already own better scopes and mounts so why not? mounted my 3-9 Hawke Airmax on a BKL droop comp one piece mount. Had more elevation than I needed at 25 but this will be a 50 yd gun for me. 25 20 - 30 mph gusts but I at least wanted to get elevation settled. H&N Baracuda 10.65 really flew out of this gun and held decent groups out of the box with little effort, 1 inch groups at 25 yards with little effort. This gun shoots so fast that the wind didn't really make much difference. This gun has serious potential at 50 yd. bench rest, Felt different and just a bit more hold sensitive than my HW97 and AA TX 200 but not a lot which was pleasantly surprising. Will naturally take this gun down , clean and lubricate but very happy with this purchase so far from PA.

That's a 12" aluminum muzzle weight from ARH! It looks good I think and I believe it balance it out really well. Thing is a really good shooter and the trigger is incredible!

Had a good time with my UK cousins. The 177 Sirocco has a trigger guard I made that still needs to get blued(please don’t mention cold blue, it’s crap). Was shooting seed balls from a sycamore tree again. Off hand. Really good squirrel hunting practice. You can usually see misses against the sky to help learn how to hold when shooting up in a tree. Not worried about backdrop because I’m shooting at our 200 acre family farm. If you’re hitting 1 1/4” seeds head shots on squirrels is no problem.
Then set up a can on the lane that goes out to the main road. Shooting 45 - 55 yards off hand of course. Only missed 1 out of over 20 due to a lapse in concentration.
Changed over to my.25 Tomahawk and hit 20 some straight with JSB Kings. Kept rolling the can out to 55y now and missed a few until I found the holdover again and started wacking the can mostly hitting the smaller ends. Not broadside.
I love the Webley but it doesn’t have the polished feel of the Theoben. Large pistol grip on the Theo fits my xx large hands. I’ve had this one 35 years. Running 17 ft lb. I've seen 23 ft lb with the Tommy shooting FTT's. Will not part with these great guns.

Sighted in my little R7 today at 25yds then shot it at 66yds on my steel prairie dog. Went 8-10 , not bad considering it’s not really meant for this.
Beeman R7 .177
Falcon 7.33gr pellets
USO TS12
Front rest rear bag
Maccari kit with spring , guide and top hat with light lube.
66yds
5.6 mils elevation , 1.9 mils windage from a 25yd zero
Wind was variable 4-6mph from my 8:00
