What springer did you shoot today?

Another day with the TX200 at 50-yards. It was an off day for me. My concentration was just not there.

Just finished shooting the Gamo Expo 2100 and Ruger Yukon magnum with longer .22 barrel from XS28M,which adds about 3 inches. Removed riser. Polished trigger. With Williams peep and front globe.

Posted a stock picture along with my photo.

I believe mine is a better looking rifle than the stock version.

Ongoing fun with my $60 Chinese B3 (targets at 12 yards - Standing offhand, as God and Harry Pope intended) -

added an Archer muzzle brake, mostly for looks and to protect the cutoff and crown job, but it closed up the spread of my groups quite a bit. Unfortunately it also lowered POI more than my Weaver B4 could handle, even with a shim :(

The shrink tube on the cocking lever makes cocking this monstrosity a little less crippling. I had to modify the spring clip that captures the cocking lever to handle the increased diameter. Should have just left a little notch without tubing.

Also found that this gun likes a little Hornady One Shot on the pellets.

You got your money’s worth. I like the muzzle end. Enjoy. Crow
Definitely.
I think the fiber optic sights are nonsense. They lower POA as the ambient light level increases.
Good to know. Crow

Took these three out again, off and on al day long. Man I hit the jackpot.

A 30, 50 and 95 all in .20. I put a 4x12x50mm scope on the 95, which shot great but found trigger too heavy. The fist star was the 30. What a crowd pleaser. I was hitting a bean can 8 times out of 10, 30 yds.. Iron sights, can’t believe It.

Can’t go wrong with a 30 .20 cal. Crow

Well this evening HW50 177 cal great evening vary little wind. And having fun with my experiment I weighed. Some crosmans 177 7.9 hollow point. An measured head space on some. What did I find ? Well lose pellets aren’t vary accurate. The weight difference didn’t seem to affect my fun factor at 50 yards 😃😃😃😃 1 1/2 inch spinners or 3 inch at 100 yards . So I dumped them all back into their tin gave it a shake. Took a big drink of sweet tea , spent the next 40 minutes having a great time . 😀😀😀 so grab your favorite springer a tin of pellets , your favorite drink. An go have fun. 🙂 ( we are not promised tomorrow) 😳

It was so windy yesterday I was expecting Dorothy to fly by.
At first I thought the loose fitting round vs tight would be more accurate. Surprise.
The 30 and 50 I just got are probably the tightest by far of all rifles. Sometimes bending the skirt with thumb nail. But deadly accurate.
Enjoy your shooting. Crow

56T/H this morning. Was shooting practice target when wind picked up and skies got dark so finished it quickly and packed up. Great shooting gun for any power level, but when you consider it’s a .177 making almost 18 FPE it’s flat amazing. Too hot and humid to do much after rain stopped. Just took HW75 out and showed a Coke can who‘s in charge. Fun gun. Gotta be on your game to shoot it well.

the other day i shot but could not post target picture . the picture finally showed up in my mail ( sent from I phone) so here is the pic. View attachment 361961
Nice shooting, you’re on the team. Crow

I came so close to getting a 56th in .177. Love the thumbhole. Crow

Plinking from the back deck with my HW95L .22 & chasing the elusive, (for me anyway), MOA at 25 yards. For some VERY thankful reason the mosquitoes have not been present yet and we have had the wettest year in memory. I hope all you folks enjoy the shooting as much as I do. 84+ and not getting any younger! God bless all.
