What springer did you shoot today?

Shooting my brand new HW77k. Apparently, just because I was a good shot when I was younger doesn't mean that I'm a good shot today. I need to find somewhere I can go to spend some serious practice time. It's a little hectic where I live to feel like I can reel off the amount of shots it's going to take to improve...

That is one sweet 30. I’m thinking of buying another 30 with a synthetic stock. Crow
Sunday shooting was HW35 HW97k FWB600 peeps all in .177 and Daystate Pulsar .177
Familiar with the 35 and 97. I’m sure all gems. Crow
Made another trip down to the lake cabin with my bud Lance on Tuesday. Awesomely perfect fall weather, and a great place to shoot! He took three different 124's, a 300S Junior, and and a late large-tube Diana 28, all scoped and really fine shooters.

I made it "Weihrauch Day," LOL: 1967 original model HW 50; 1973 HW 55 S with custom ARH Williams sight; 1997 HWB Champ (junior HW 55); and 1970 HW 55 M. I've put Maccari kits in the 50 and 55 M, never been into the other two but the previous owners obviously had. All four perform well.

Lance likes reactive targets - we spent the most time wearing out some 2-inch-tall plastic pill bottles, LOL. My star of the day was the 55 M. Shooting off a rest with iron sights and 1.5x magnifying iris, I was hitting those about 4 out of 5 times at a measured 32 yards. The accuracy and hitting power of even these mild-mannered oldsters at that range was surprising!

Got to love the weather this time of year, especially with the bugs wiped out.
I was supposed to go to my buddies range up north last week but couldn’t make it. We’re gonna try and hook up next week can’t wait.
Your rifles, most guys on this forum, wish one day they would own one of them, but probably never will. Enjoy Crow

Can’t go wrong with a 77. Really like you colour with browns, mines a washed out green. Enjoy Crow

.177 caliber HW77K at 65yds last night. I put a scope on the gun and since I've never tried 65yds before, I thought what the heck and gave it a go.

1.1" group was my best effort with FTT's I ran out of Baracuda FT's the other day but I think they would do even better.

I know other guys can do much better, but I was pretty excited with the first two in the black diamond. Then got nervous LOL.

Cheers

Sit that ain’t bad. Open sights, pretty darn good.
It can be hard to find time to learn a springer if you are new to them. I am two years into my HW95, and am still not as consistent as I would like.

Most of my shooting is 10m in my basement. The required technique is the same regardless of range.

Beautiful 77!
I had a 4-12 Vortex scope on! I need to replace that picture.

Gave my HW95 Luxus some love today. It got left out this weekend while we shot CO2 pistols and open sights with Kim’s HW30S and my Diana 34. Both great shooting guns BTW. Long work day today so I just grabbed the 95 and walked to 20 yd mark. Shouldered it, hit the first Crosman big spinner. Hit the second big spinner. Missed the little one. Cursed. Squared the little one up second time around. Shot and reset the squirrel a couple times. Finished killing some Shoot n C targets we had left up. Time to go in then and give the dogs some love but that gun had already put a smile on my face. Always does. Still my favorite, especially off hand. Everyone but the squirrel was a winner :p

Crosman pistol in .22, Gamo Magnum in .22, Gamo Maxxim in .22, BenjaminView attachment 295682 Prowler in .177, Crosman pumper in .177 and a Red Ryder for kicks.
Nice variety, enjoy. Crow

Nice shooting. I don’t think I could do better. I have the same gun. I think your colours are richer. Very nice. Crow
HW95 .22 cal. I've been trying to work on my 50 yard groups.

Can’t beat a 95 . Nice gun. I’ve been thinking of setting up a longer range. It just won’t be as convenient as the one I’m using. Crow
