The other day I removed the 4-12x40 Airmax from my 34 Diana. It was put on the R10 and the old 4-12x40 Airmax was taken from the R10 and put on the 22 cal 77K.
We I read a post either here or on UK airgun forums about how well and durable the old Tasco 2.5-10 AO Varmint model was. I've had one setting idol for 15 or 20 years. So I decided to go to the lake and take the 34 and set it up on it.
I also bought 2500 H&N FTT pellets anticipating the R10 loving them. Well the pellets were not near as good as the AA field Diablos. But talk about magic in the 34!
So a great afternoon and the old Tasco is performing like a champ! It and the pellets are are a match made in heaven for this rifle, and it's use now. 802 fps with a ten shot es of 5.3 fps for nine of them. I threw the odd shot out.

The R10 might of shot the 34 out of the saddle for my 177 game getter. But this 34 will rule the marsh! And that 2.5-10x40 AO Tasco Varmint model is classic gem for airguns!
