What springer did you shoot today?

I worked this morning, and having a cool spell, just mid 80's today and very low humidity, I got my new HW95n out I had gotten in a Williams receiver sight and a Gehmann adjustable diopter so shot it a little. I had a real surprise. Setting up a target my first three shots were centered at 10meters, not using a bench and my rest and rear bag, just propping an elbow on a lightweight patio table, and in a chair with rocking motion. I was amazed that I had set it up with the sight perfectly adjusted from the start.

Time to eat !
No time to talk!

finally stopped raining (total maybe 4 inches ) SO i took out the Webley MK3 .22 , i think it might be slightly easier to cock this time . still a bear though .
has a Bushnell scopechief on it 2 x 8 x30 . first few shots were all over , then it settled in and was close to on target , nice recoil seems straight back . no bounce .
I think it just has not been shot in a long time . Haven't found anything about the scope except on Ebay , i get a kick out of the shipping costs they post /// Item $6.50 + $23.50 shipping ,HAHAHA

It finally got shady enough on my shooting spot so went out for a few minutes with the 95N. Hummingbirds are really working feeders over as per usual this time of year and made it hard to concentrate on a shot, especially when one zooms right across the barrel between front and rear sight. My wife and I get a lot of enjoyment out of watching them fight and chase each other.

Finally!! Almost all the rain has left the area and has left us a little overcast but otherwise dry. I was able to get out and put the scope on and zeroed in.

HW97K Walnut, .22 Looking forward to the adventure!

Beautiful 97 man! I would love to get a stock like that or one of the CS custom walnuts.

Hurricane spared us, but the folks to our West got hammered and really bad off right now. Never seen that kind of flooding in the mountains before.

Crow I am jealous. That HW 90 in .20 is one I have chased for a few months. I am beginning to think just forget it! I have a 90 in .25, and 95 in .20. Also a Sheridan in .20. Also gas pistons in 177 and 22 maybe I just don't need it. But the gas piston guns really do it for me. Be Well Brothers, B.

Pound for pound they have to be the most fearless. Check this wood pecker fending off the hummingbird.

Good reason to be jealous. Very very nice gun. I have all 4 cal. Haven’t shot the .177 or .22.
You’re going to like them a lot more when you turn them down to 18 bar. These guns are special.
Good luck, Crow

I have to agree with you. The only thing I have seen to make them back off is when wasps get around the feeder, I have not seen any of that this year but have in the past. Sometimes it would seem as though they would fan the wasps to make them move away, but still keep distance. I cannot see a hummer in you picture, can believe it. A little after 7am and they are already swarming my feeder, and will keep it up until it is almost dark.
