What springer did you shoot today?

The first and the last of their kind: 10 meter, spring piston, fixed barrel airguns. A late Anschutz 220 from 1962, and a pre T01 Diana 75 from 1978.
No point in showing today's targets at 20 M, they're the same.

why the cork ?

Probably to keep the spring pressure off of the breach seal. I use a thin piece of delrin for the same when I'm not shooting.

Yeah I had one in mint condition, the D75 that is.
It would really be cool if it could shoot the same at 800fps with a 8.4 pellet.

That is the reason I bought my HW95 strictly for Irons. I find it extremely relaxing and satisfying, back to the basics.

why the cork ?

To keep pressure off of the breech seal with the hope that it would not compress the seal and increase the overall life of the seal.

Went up north today to my buddies range in the middle of no man’s land. It was cold and the wood stove was a necessity. So nice this time of year. The leaves are changed up here.
