What springer did you shoot today?

Winter is my shooting time, never enough. Started afternoon with a HW95 .22. The perfect squirrel gun.

Never had to touch the scope, it was right on target. Up next a HW97 it .177. WOW Again I didn’t write down what I put in. But pretty sure 12fpe Vortek spring and piston seal. What a shooter, doesn’t get much better. Getting more of these 12 FPE kits. Love the thumbhole.

And last gun before dinner a HW90 .25.

Blasting a can with Hades at 35 yds. Crippling gun.
Hard to believe this was my most despised rifle ever.
Another passion I have is belts, the one on the left I got for Christmas with 3 others, liked them so much bought the 2 on right Christmas day. Just arrived today.

One of these days Crow ! I got a call and ordered an HW 90 IN .20 CAL. and base, rings, and gauge for the gas piston adjustment. It had arrived after waiting quite a bit with one on order. Oh, and a sleeve of cans of pellets. Barracudas, I think. One of these days I will be shooting some targets. I want to join the 20 cal HW90 CLUB ! ¿ ! Be Well Brothers, Bandito.

36F and still snowing. Got out for morning shoot with a HW50 .20. That curtain in background is the difference between shooting and not shooting. It stops a light wind which is mercyless.View attachment 528638Another HW50 .177 plastic stock. This gun is one of the perfect hunters. Vortek equip. The 50’s are great guns. View attachment 528640

I rarely use a rear bag.
Temps. are tolerable. Another great day. Fresh snow cleans up the backdrop. Crow|

Hope you like it.
If your 90 is half as good as mine you will be dancing.
I haven’t really played with it a lot. But what I’ve seen has been outstanding. A lot of meat on that gun.
Have the 4 cal. but still never played with the .177 or .22 cal. Crow

I haven’t even broke out my electric wear yet for heat. I just wear Carhearts thermal work pants, fleece shirt and a quilted shirt.
I plink with the 25 but wanted the 20 just because. But really, no offence, but I don't think you are pretty enough for me to want to dance with you. Sorry Crow. Be Well, dito.
Oh. Great reason. Hope you score one. Crow.

And another huge difference is on all my break barrels I put a Delrin muzzle end. I always am holding the end. View attachment 529396Grabbing that Vsrs. steel 20F. is night and day. SpiralGroove made mine. Did an excellent job. Even with gloves that steel is cold. Crow
I've been wearing a leather driving glove on my cocking hand, and I have electric space heater on my right side, so I can thaw out my trigger finger..lol. Our temps aren't near what yours are either, but starting Monday they will be in the teens, with highs in the 30's, which is cold for where I live.

wear driving gloves as well on both hands but cut the index and thumb tips off left hand. The first to get cold.

There’s my painted gloves. I’m usually good for 1-2 hr. runs before I catch a chill. Once your hands are cold you’re done. I’m going to try that hand warmer tomorrow. Crow

Those gloves don't look warm enough for an hour at a time in that kind of cold. I have trouble with loading after I get a certain amount of cold. And that point comes sooner since the carpal tunnel surgeries on both sides. We need heated guns for the cold. Those heated steering wheels in newer cars are a wonder! Guess I am just a sissy the older I get. Be Well Brothers, B.

I can't imagine living in a cold place LOL! South Louisiana is an oven! My other home is Phoenix, AZ. Everything needs ice lol.

Hey Bandito. The key is no wind. You can dress for the cold but you can’t for those sweaty hot days. Thank God it doesn’t last forever.
I have to admit it’s way better shooting with snow on the ground. I can see where the shot goes, even misses and by how much. If windy which isn’t much because I‘m so sheltered I just don’t go out.
I prefer 75F weather, but fall here is the best, no bugs.
Injuries can be a different issue. I’m riddled with arthritis which doesn’t help. Just bite the bullet. Crow

Been to AZ. great for the arthritis.
‘My wife and I were going to Thailand for the winters but Covid changed everything. Permanently.
Now I can’t leave my guns. Crow
