What springer did you shoot today?

Shot the HW30 this evening at 40 yards
Those are some great groups at that distance. I hope the wind was nonexistent for you. I've learned that these light pellets are really blown around at distance. And 40 yards is a big ask with the low power. I need to try those 7.87's, your post made me realize that I don't have those (yet). Cheers!

Yes! Today was almost no wind, the closer to dark the more it laid down. When I get some more 7.87's I will try again on a calm day. But last time I shot the AA blue tin 7.87's they grouped great at 40 yards in the HW30. I tweaked the trigger down a little bit more.

Shot the HW30 this evening at 40 yards, I was using the AA falcon 7.33, not it's best pellet at this range. Best group about 1/2". I have some JSB 7.87's on the way, going to see it they shoot as well as the AA blue tin 7.87's.

Nice shooting. I like the looks of the extension on scope. Crow

Almost got a heat stroke at 44F. Started with a TX200 .177, Lazer beam. What a gun.

Did some shoveling to reach some targets. Coronary workout, overheating. Check out that Barbie pink. Replaced 6 cans.

Now this is a cool target. No pun intended.
This time of year you get melt and freeze. The best targets. icicles at 30 yds.

Finished off the morning with a TX Hunter .22. Flawless guns.

Great morning shoot and repair on range. Crow

Shot my 97 .177 today after completing my first takedown and rebuild with the tin bum export kit. I had broken the factory spring last time out. Was a little nervous because everyone seems to think Weirauch rifles are hard to work on. Intimidating yes, hard….nope. I would encourage everyone to go for it. Love the feel of the gun now and is so smooth. Now onto the other Weihrauch rifles.

*Hw97 numbers after rebuild/kit .177 8.4 gn @880 avg.SD @4.6 fps

6 years. I think these’s timers that never stop ticking. They self destruct whether you use it or not. I’m replacing all my appliances.
And nice shooting. Crow

6 years is a long time for a desktop hard drive , PC is old enough not to upgrade to windows 11 .
