What springer did you shoot today?

Yes, it was the first rifle I worked on. It is really easy to cock and much smoother than prior to the kit. Lost about 1.8 fpe, switched to a lighter pellet. Remarkably accurate.
I need to do the same, I find I don't shoot my prosport as much because of the heavy cocking stroke. I'll get to it one day, currently I have the 98 on the bench in all it's pieces, it will get worked over, also have a set back trigger on the way for it.

Did a drive into town today to score a FWB 150 to save on shipping. Crow

So I shot my FWB 150 off of my new super stable bench. Unfortunately the wind was wicked, so I tried to "read the wind" and used 2 wind flags for the first time. What an experience, I sucked big time but learned a lot. In South Florida, the nicest shooting weather is accompanied by wind. My flags: my wife had some flimsy pink material. One at the pellet trap and another half way. I used to be a windsurfer so this wind thing I know...lots to learn with shooting. I posted this in the 30 yd thread but here's a card with two efforts, the circled ones are the first go around without wind info.Tjhe others are the second time around, trying to adjust. I have a new-to-me expression..."damn! I hit exactly where I was aiming". I'm sure all of you use wind flags...;-)

Unfortunately Kentucky windage is not an exact science. In the end it's a guesstimate unless a cross wind is locked and not gusting. Today I compensated right only to have it hit further right, look up at the wind sock and it's pointing the opposite direction.
Yes, I talk with my wife while I am shooting, and often and say I compensated for that one and the shot was right on the crosshairs!

Your target box looks very similar to my 2007 built target box. Mine has a carry handle on top as well, but it's covered by the brown towel in this photo.✌🏻

Good shooting.

Just another spectacular day, 56F and sunny, windy but not hitting me. Started off with a HW77 .25. Again best plinker. Shooting wet snow balls for targets. You get the splash. Expensive targets for free.

My target area is quickly thawing out.
IMG_1272.jpeg

This is what my targets see with lead flying at them. I’m on left side.
IMG_1274.jpeg
Also shot a HW97kt .177
IMG_1271.jpeg
Put in over 4 hours of shooting. Superb weather.
Also shot another HW97 .20. Shot these both last week, looked like a shot gun. Stock screws were falling out. Much tighter today.

And finally got a working scope on this D34 .22. Night and day.

I have day light till 7:30 now and growing. Awesome day. Crow
