What the Hell

Hey fellow air gunners. So I woke up today saw a bird sitting right in the perfect spot so ran over and took the shot, holy crap sounded like I fired a .22cal rimfire. I have an fx Mavrick sniper .25 and the Donnie FL moderator. Do you have to repack these or what do you think caused this? Please Help!

Blurry picture but there should be two, one on either side of the brass transfer port piece.

Edit: and one more tiny one inside the brass transfer port for the probe seal.
Yes...there is a tiny one inside... Look it over.. sounds like it's gone or torn..

Similar situation once... I was in a hurry to pop a pest... In my haste I didn't close the bolt fully.. when I shot...it was loud.. cocking handle didn't fly open but I noticed it wasn't close fully.. when I shot again to test it.... It was loud! That little o ring was missing!

Yes but I fired it sevral more times after that.

Projectile likely went supersonic.
Typically done when a high power PCP is shot with a Lighter than tuned for pellet .... CRACK !!!!
That would require well over 1,000 fps, and I haven't seen any mention of the specific pellet, or the tuning. But you're absolutely correct. A supersonic shot is gonna be loud. A blown breech seal is loud, and seems even louder as it's so close to your ear.
