What to buy first?

I have about $700 burning a hole in my pocket and I'm tired of hand pumping. I was looking at the shoebox max and an Omega tank. I'm not sure of the availability of high pressure fills in my area (long Island) so I've been leaning towards the shoebox. I've been reading that some people buy a smaller tank like the guppy to compliment the shoebox instead of lugging around a larger one. I'd be filling my gun directly from the shoebox at first if I go that route until I have decided and set aside the cash for a tank.

I shoot a disco now but will be upgrading to a wildcat or cricket and there is no way I'm pumping either one of those. I also wanted to go with the shoebox for the simple and cheaper rebuilds compared to some of the other options out there.

What are your thoughts?

Check out the paintball guys on the island. Cousins has a new location out in Calverton. This is Saturdays only and I was told I could get a 4500 psi fill. I went to their secondary location last fall. The Bauer was down and all I could get was 3800 psi. Hampton Dive center has a fast 4200 psi fill, and 2400 psi in Helium. ( A Disco burping Helium is amusing.) Another Paintball I tried promised a 4500 I got a very hot 4150. It cooled to a little less than 3900. I tried nobody in Nassau or further in.

Thank you! I'm in Selden and work near Riverhead. I'll stop in at Cousins to see what they can do for me. Did the dive center ask to see a scuba certification to get the tank filled?

I have a carbon fiber tank. so visually that was not an issue. I've been dealing with the shop-shops and various owners for 40 years. The dive shop is open till 7, and other shops have not been able to break 3800. I bought a cradle, netting and a tank boot from them. Originally their biggest concern was the hydro label, and the fill pressure. I on one occasion experienced a novice behind the counter and did not know the adapters to fill the Joe B tank. I have a regular 88 scuba tank with a Helium label and current hydro also.
