What to do when your FX M3 Impact breaks?

Hey guys. I got this bad boy used maybe 2 years ago. It just sprung a leak "inside" somewhere.

What would someone do in this situation? Do I contact FX and send it to them? or do random FX dealers fix guns? It came from Talon Tunes originaly.

Where do I send it?

Thanks

If you don’t want to do it yourself just call fx USA. They will issue you a return authorization number and you just send it in and you will have it back in about a month. If it is within the 3 year window of warranty it will only cost you shipping to them. They will be able to tell you that from the serial number when you call.
I would as suggested above, try to determine where the leak is coming from. It may be something that doesn’t require a lot is dismantling at all. If it is the fill port or a regulator you don’t need to tear into it too much.

Sounds great. I will contact them. Forgot to mention: No, I can't take it apart...not confident enough to try that. Thank your for the info on how to do it! Maybe someday.
I get that. Only gun I have completely taken apart was a gamo coyote to re seal. Did quite a bit of dismantling of my Maverick to only lose a tiny little trigger part so I just said screw it and sent it in. Took them 3-4 weeks to get it back to me but they fixed it for free even though it was my screw up. There is a lot of fx hate out there but one thing with them is they are right here in the US with any part or service you need. Can’t beat that.

There are disassembly and reassembly ER videos on Utube that cover taking it apart and putting it back together. Watch it closely, take your time and take pictures along with notes. I was in the same boat around 4 years ago until I watched 1 of AVS vids on taking the liberty apart. You're lucky in that there are a lot of videos showing how to do things with a FX. As far as I know there's only one for the Sumatra.

My very first PCP was the Impact MK2 which some would admit that it was a real big jump. After a month I started taking it a part out of curiosity also a bit of boredom.
A year later I had to re-thread a half of 3M I wore them down. Today I can tear it down to the most smallest bits and pieces, and back to the range in next hour, all these with closed eyes.
This the only way to learn for race tracks....
