I was just wondering if anybody had any ideas what to do with all those empty pellet cans?

I'm building a new home with mine, stack em and pack the cracks between with dung, they make great insulated walls... I need a few more cans...

Save them. If you ever want to sort your pellets by weight or head size, you'll need lots of them for all of the separate sizes. I also use them for holding all of my slugs that usually come in a small plastic bag and sometimes a box. Using the tins for slugs is a whole lot easier and more convenient than the large boxes. +1 on using them to sort pellets and put slugs in. I am a few shy of having what I need, to sort the pellets the way I want, but when I am done shooting a couple more tins I will be good? But then again I just bought a bunch more slugs so I really need to get busy shooting up these pellets so I will have tins for my slugs. But sorting pellets is tedious and thankless job that's why I don't have enough tins.

I give my empty pellet cans to a lady friend that makes candles with them by melting her grand kid's broken Crayons and pouring the mix in the empty cans and adding a wick...and Viola! Can you imagine the smell though?

I keep a few on the loading beech for all the screws and springs, at least those that don't fly off to Neverland. And some in the garage for small parts.

My wife and her friends are in to scrapbooking and beads. They use them for piece-parts. I hate giving them away. Something about a stack of tins, be it new unopened ones or empty’s. Kind of like a new deck of cards, a new book of matches or a new set of screwdrivers. They just need to stays together. Weird?

A rough count of your wall is 720 tins even if they were 10 bucks each to your door that would still be 7200.00 and at even 150 pellets per tin you are over 100,000 shots....

How can we contribute to the wall art? Can you imagine if everyone sent you empty cans? You would have the place decorated in no time.

I did buy some empty tins a couple years ago. While many of those tins did get recycled, many made it to the wall (so I didn't shoot ALL of them, but most). I might consider looking for some more. Don't want this to turn into a classifieds post but folks are welcome to PM me.

JCD, I have a bunch of empty tins that you can have. Most are JSB. I am also in MD (Mount Airy). If you happen by this way I can set them out for you to pick up.
