What to get, need suggestions!

Ok I’ll start by letting you know what my budget is it’s 500-1000 dollars and what I’m looking for is preferably a .25 ppc pistol being I shoot mostly .25 and .30 caliber airguns but I’m open to a .22 depending on performance, I did have a Marauder pistol years ago but it just wasn’t quite right for me and sold it and now I would like to try again at getting a pistol but I’m not educated in ppc pistols, my main issues is I have nerve damage in my hands so handling small pellets is difficult that’s why I would like if possible to go .25. I would use it for plinking 15 to 25 yards and beyond for the challenge, I also will be using it for small pest control like mice to gopher sized critters around the home and camper( I live in the country) noise isn’t a issue, I do have fewin mind but I would like to hear from folks that know Air pistols.

i have two more .25 caliber barrels left that are lathed down to 7/16" o.d. , so they fit into the crosman 2400kt / 2250 co2 carbines. barrels are 17" long , but can be cut down to pistol length... if it was me , and i had pcp gear - i would get one of those weirauch model 44 pistol kits (ive only seen .22 caliber) .. sell for around $1000.... mountain air custom airguns makes .25 pistols and such, too.. - paul.

I know the .25 is pretty limited on what’s out there but I’m just making sure I’m not missing anything that’s out there, I live in a area where I’m the only ppc airgun shooter around,(we all are PB shooters) closest one is 60+ miles away and I think probably less the 40 in a 4-5 state area from what I can tell so it’s not like I can go anywhere to try before buying. I get all my info from sites like this.

you have the money and if I had any PCP guns I would want one of these, as stated above

https://www.weihrauch-sport.de/air-pistols/hw-44?lang=en

they have mags so you can load them on a table before hand but in .22, your .25 caliber pistol choices are few

Krale might have the best price and service even though they are in the Netherlands

there might be duty to pay unknown to me

.25 pistols at PA

No doubt! Fx Ranchero- 22 cal.

3 power settings wheel gives you the power you want for back yard shooting, and pesting if that is what you want to use it for. It is fairly quiet, but also threaded for adding a silencer if you wish. With a decent scope, and a couple of extra air cylinders in your backpack you have 60-70 shots available and can leave the hand pump at home......😉

I had a Talon P that Talon Tunes worked over, I didn’t like the trigger it was way too heavy for me. And it was very loud until I added a shroud. Tony polished the trigger parts and got it to break at about a pound. It was quite accurate, you could hit a 4 inch disk at 100 yards fairly regularly...off of bags!! Over all it functioned perfectly, but somehow it just didn’t feel good in my hands. It’s not a .25 but these are fantastic pistols, very accurate, not too loud, can be set up for HPA easily. It’s a Mac 1 LD .22 cal. I really like it because it’s powerful enough for squirrels to 30 yards.
