What type of new PCP or aftermarket part would you like to come out next?

No, I was actually impressed by it. It's not that it's in danger of going off by just bumping the stock, but it's also not a double action pull. It's more of walking through the woods, stepping a hole filled with leaves, falling down, etc. It's not that the business end is pointed anywhere wrong, but you still don't want a stray shot, or for that matter losing your air. AoA says a safety is a failure point. Heck a trigger is a failure point. That's why we have a safety. LOL

That said, don't get me wrong. I love the gun.

There is a tree that overhangs the target area. Just from the lead spattering and spraying, all the leaves are gone above the target. It's a beast. :)

@Macgyver I know what you mean, definitely don’t want a .45 bullet from that beast going astray.

That’s a bullpoop excuse to not have a safety lol. Imagine a car manufacturer not putting in a seat belt because it’s “another point of failure” lol

Agreed. I was also told that it was designed that way to make the gun "more safe" so people wouldn't rely on the safety, but instead be more conscious. I guess GM could use that too for a reason not to install seat belts. I have learned in business, always follow the money. That is the only reason I can come up with for no safety on a rifle, but that's just me. Again, I'm not bad mouthing the gun. It's awesome, and I do a lot of business with AoA. This is just an issue where i see things differently, and that's okay.

For sure I’ve never heard bad things about the bushbuck

For all PCP's over $1k to have barrels threaded into the receiver. It just blows my mind how companies think they can provide customers with repeatable, consistent match grade accuracy with barrels held in place by grub screws and a sloppy enough fit requiring orings. What $2k airguns are using would get them laughed at in the powderburner world. This is the biggest part of our struggle for day to day and repeat group accuracy. Yet big money popular guns keep coming out every year with new big plenums and other fluff instead of one gamechanger mod that would thrill us all.

Especially if they have CNC lathes, they can get the tolerances really tight. Sounds like a simple, low cost procedure for a manufacturer

Id like to see a new PCP with a solid unshrouded 16mm barrel that wasn't a damn bullpup and wasn't tuned for max power.

I'm sick of shrouds that suck and barrel bands. Make a gun with an actual stock for a change. We have enough Tacticool stuff already.

American made would be nice. But Crosman can't do it, they've proven that already. And the RAW stuff is all high power now.

American Air Arms had a nice wood stocked gun built at one time but canned it and built some GI Joe stuff instead.

Just some options besides a new bullpup every year would be great. But I'm not holding my breath.

I can get on board with this. Or at least a solid clamp setup like a Thomas rifle uses.

In order for that to happen I’m thinking air transfer passage duties are now directly into hollowed out pellet probes. Air enters at the back end underside of the probe.

The outside of the pellet probe itself has to be the seal at each side of that transfer opening. As needed, there would still be one in the breech behind the seated pellet.

I would like to see some affordably priced PCPs from the big boys. PCPs currently selling at 1-1.5K come down into the $700-$1000 range. And yes, I know there are less expensive sub $500 options. But I’m not interested in those models. The jump in price from say an Avenger to FX, Daystate, AAs, etc. is huge. I started with an Urban ($300) with scope under $450. Afterwards I purchased 3 PCPs that when kitted out cost nearly 4K! Those three cost more than all of the powder burners in my safe. And I do have some nice Smith & Wessons. I know that to many, God bless them, PCPs at the 1K plus price points are affordable. But to most, myself included that is a lot of coin. Thank goodness for the AGN classifieds.

New PCP equally capable as a AFT rifle or bench rifle - A strong action that a higher quality barrel option like Bartlein, Krieger, etc, will "thread" into. I want a light match grade trigger too, like 3-4 oz. Good stock ergo's, a hybrid for field or bench with attachment points for a front and rear bag rider. Mid cocking and reversible lever because I like left side cocking lacking a heavy pull weight. In the 100 + fpe class capable so it can easily be tuned down to 60-70 fpe when wanted. AND high capacity mags which cycle and feed well with a nice slick feel.

700cc carbon fiber bottles!
