What valve is this?

What valve is this on my scba tank? Bought this tank 2 1/2 yrs ago before I had a way to fill it. Not long after getting it, I bought 2 AirVenturi tanks and was getting them filled by local paintball shop. Since I got my Shoebox working for now, I would like to be able to use it. My Texan SS uses a lot of air. I don’t see anything on the tank or valve that says which one it is.

Could this valve be changed out for a more pcp friendly one? And where to find it?

If you tried to post a pic of your tank it never ended up posting. And joe b at air tanks for sale is a good source for any tank set up. I'm sure he can hook you up if possible

Just my 2 cents. I have the same valves on my tanks. It’s a CGA347. Plenty of fill adapters on eBay for around 45 bucks or so. That’s were I bought my first one. Hit and miss on the eBay adapters. My first one leaked on the first use right were the pressure gauge threads on to the adapter. After messing around with it I stopped the leak. Second one lasted for a couple months but the o ring started leaking. Easy replace but they seem to wear off really easy. 

I ended up getting annoyed and spent the money on a “Stikman” from airtanksplus. It cost a lot more (180) but it has lasted without any issues. Comes with a case, extra o rings and the build quality is so much better. Plus it’s a lot lighter and the fill hose is a lot longer. 

If i had to do it all over again I would have bought the stickman from day one.

Been looking at that one and liked what I had seen and heard about it. It’s on the short list right now.

I still have it and use it for filling tanks with my yong heng compressor. Or let’s say used to fill my tanks... since my compressor took a dump. Just be carefull and treat it very gently as the o ring wears really easy. As I mentioned earlier, my first one was leaking on arrival. But if you get a good one, it’s a good value for the money. Nowadays I’m just buying the good stuff even if it cost a bit more. This time I’m going to wait for funds and buy a good compressor.
