What was your first PCP?

A refurb Hatsan 22 cal Flashpup, Bought it in,gosh, 2018-19? The mags sucked and I shimmed the scope rail. I use only the single shot tray. Hits hard, very accurate out to 50yds, handles very well, shoulders nicely, I really like the trigger. I managed to turn it into a single stage trigger that weirdly works very well. I know,I know. But like I said,(weirdly). Not too pellet fussy. JSB 18gr, JSB Hades 15gr and, H&N 21gr match. It will probably shoot others but it likes the Hades very well so that is what I feed her. Not a hiccup since I shimmed the scope rail. Mechanically sound. Great truck gun

Like most, a MROD in .22. Still have it.

Hi, I am brand new to this forum and I have had airguns for over 40 years before I bought my first PCP the Gamo Urban 22 about 3 years ago. I have enjoyed it thoroughly both shooting it and customizing it. Very happy, with its accuracy the only complaint I have is that it is a little under powered for how I would like to use it. Despite my mods which have increased the power by approximately 25% as I am getting approximately 27fpe out of 14.3 grain Crossman Premiers and about the same out of the JSB Exact Jumbo Diablo 15.89 grains which shoot slower buy are heavier. I am thinking my next PCP will be a Barra 250z which claim up to 50fpe as well as being a capable slug shooter.

If I remember right, my first was the FD-PCP. Mike at FDAR bought a pallet of discontinued Xisico XS-60C C02 guns and converted them to HPA and sold them for $100. I actually ended up buying 3 of them with .177 and .22 barrels and bolts for each.
With the help of the BStaley oring mod I was able to meet the 20 shot at 20 fpe with the 14gr pellet challenge going on at the time.
The stocks were beech and once it a while you could find some hidden gold under that ugly Chinese wash finish.
I remember sending 2 of the trigger groups to Stalwart Arms and they were amazing when I got them back.
Those are the guns that shoved me over the edge of the rabbit hole and I think I'm still in a free fall.
This is the only one I have left.

My first PCP was a 0.25 Career 707 Carbine sometime in the late 1990s. Short, unregulated, front heavy due to the double air tubes, multi-shot under lever carbine with an adjustable power wheel. Very loud, too loud with no threaded end cap. It had a stamped scene of some kind on the side panel. It was quite powerful for the early 2000s when there weren't all that many competing models of PCPs around. The first shots on a fresh refill generated ~64fpe on air and ~106 Helium. And because of the adjustable power wheel, it was possible to keep the pellet velocities very consistent over a string of about 1 dozen shots. It was a very good tool, and if it hadn't been so front heavy so loud I'd probably still have it.
