What would be the QUIETIST Moderator for a 25 cal FX Impact M3 500 barrel?

yes i understand that,
i merely choose not to shoot befow (or much below) the first reg.

fx tells us to not shoot below the second reg pressure so as not to damage the reg.

wouldnt the first reg also fall under those guidelines?

plus,
if you have the 480cc bottle or bigger
youll get a bunch more shots than my compacts 300cc bottle.

either way no biggie to me,
anyone can shoot their m3 to whatever pressure they choose
i shoot 2 mags and refill
Actually i set my first reg 150 bar and second reg 130 for 930 fps.. I have 4 mags till reaching the first reg and refill the bottle again..
I watch many YouTube video especially airbuks how to tuning m3, until i get the right setting and fps only drop 3 or 5 fps.. And then I stop messing around macro, micro and valve... But still from many shot I still get one shot sudden fps drop..I think I can live with that sudden fps drop shots..
From watching videos I buy pro chrono, tear down and do maintenance to the gun...
Oh I want to ask you something... What if we kept the gun in the car for 8 hours ? Should I seperate the bottle and de gass the gun? I have experience keep the gun on the car, and after few hours I saw all the air on the gun is zero and the the oring of the first reg.is broke...

Tried them all and this is the best out of them all

Is the Sarissa SIGNIFICANTLY quieter than all the others you've tried?

you can never be certain that someone else tuned your gun precisely,
more often than not they get "close enough" and out the door they go.

how hard you push it,
and how much air is wasted if not tuned well,
can make a big difference in sound level.

my m3 compact .25 is crazy quiet with just a donny tatsu,
running 28gn slugs at 949fps for 56fpe,
but i tuned it to have a balance,
so everything works happily,
it equals less wasted air and more quiet-ness.

the M3 is a really easy gun to tune IMO
but you may not have a chrono.
Hello mate,i also bought FX Impact compact 25 but M4 version, what was the 28gr slugs u used, and what are the settings if you could share,i have slug liner 500mm,and pin probe, dual airflow ofcourse, thank you on answer.

My M3 .22 600mm has factory moderator and is as you say mouse fart quiet. I have my 2nd reg set at 70bar shooting 18gr @ 900fps. the action is louder than the report. If I didn't chrono it, I wouldn't believe it was shooting the velocity that it is. I put a Donny FatBoy on my Wildcat compact, and it is also M/F quiet. I dont know why but the W/C is the only FX I've owned that didn't come with a moderator.

Thanks and yes I don't have a chrono or the knowledge to tune it better than Utah

I DID speak to my tuner, I forgot his name, and he did explain to me how he went about it, and he tailored the tune to the JSB Match Kings that I shoot.

Both of my gauges are congruent to each other as well

I am ASSUMING that my tune was done properly

So that's why I am asking what moderator is most effective for my setup
if you’re trying to achieve any level of performance, a chrono is probably more important than any aftermarket mods available for any gun. it’s basically the equivalent of an OBD-2 diagnostic scanner but for airguns. it gives you the baseline you need to tune up or tune down from.

As others have stated, a bad tune and it wont matter what brand you put on it.
I have never been impressed with DFL. I own 4 of them and none of them are on a gun anymore.
I am currently using either Impulse Air or a new brand called Sonus. Of the two I prefer the Sonus.
I Am running three of them now. One is on my Panthera Comapct Hunter in 30 and it has that thing quieted way down.
The only “mouse fart“ quiet air guns I have seen are producing mouse fart power. Not to hard to tame the noise of a 20 fpe or lower gun.

I currently have a 1350 on it, but in my opinion, it is loud. What would be the quietest moderator for my setup?

Like as you guys say, "Mouse-fart quiet?

Thank You Fellas!
I have a koi on a 500 m3 and it's quiet. If you have the 300cc bottle on it the one that comes with the m3 is really good. But if you have a bigger bottle the donny fl koi is cool because it's not much bigger than the shroud
